Your body jolts awake immediately after your phone (a home phone) starts ringing. Your body's filled with sweat and anxiety from the sudden awakeness and you look at the phone before hesitantly picking it up.
"Hello?" you say groggily, rubbing your eyes. You didn't get much sleep last night because Max wanted to teach you how to skate in the middle of the night. You didn't get home till 3:00 am.

"Y/n! Hi!" Eleven yells into your ear cheeringly. Eleven was your best friend, you started hanging out with her and Max. You had to admit, you had a little crush on Eleven. I mean come on! Eleven's this bad*ss girl who can kill whoever she wants and she's obviously really pretty. You had no chance though, she was dating Mike W.
You jump at her screaming, "El," you look at your clock and it reads 7:00 am, "Do you have any idea what time it is?"
"I do, but I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today." she still says cheeringly.
I rub my eyes and smile tiredly, "Sure uh, you wanna go to the mall?"
You feel Eleven's eyebrows scrunch together, "The m-mall? What's that?"
You raise an eyebrow, "Never mind, i'll pick you up. Just give me till 1 pm okay?"
"Mhm! Okay! Bye Y/N!" Eleven yells and you hang up the phone. You were excited but still tired as hell so you collapse back on your bed, hoping to at least get 5 more hours of sleep.
