TheEnd: The Final Planet

The End of many beginnings part 2

A huge fall awaited him, but his face showed no reaction

The closer he got to the ground, the louder the wind howled in his ears

(Magnus)-"This is going to be a long day..."

Suddenly, the fall ended

As if his body simply stopped moving in mid-air

And then he flew

He flew so high that it seemed to touch the clouds

He flew so fast that it didn't even seem like a simple bird

Magnus flew for almost ten minutes until he reached an island with mountains and ranges, and in the center of it all a striking and somewhat captivating structure awaited him

This structure was in the place that used to be a cathedral during the war, but now it will be the base for those who want to help others

(Magnus)-"And... here we go again..." *falls to the ground right in front of the large entrance door*

(Gayoul)-"MAGNUS!!" *comes running at full speed* "You don't even know what happened!"

(Magnus)-"Calm down Gayoul, aren't you going to say good morning to me first? It's not like someone died... right...?"

(Gayoul)-"That's exactly what happened! Navi was found dead!"

(Magnus)-"Damn... I thought this could happen... anything that could suggest what or who killed him...?" *Magnus tries not to look in Gayoul's direction while he speaks*

(Gayoul)-"Damn Magnus! Why are you so cold like this?" *tries to circle Magnus trying to talk face-to-face*

(Gayoul)-"I mean, we've known him for three or four months, but it's still kind of shocking and sad, don't you think?"

(Magnus)-"Yes Gayoul, it is indeed sad and very shocking..." *Magnus starts to walk away*

For a while, practically everyone in the base approached Magnus and talked about the same thing

(Jhon)-"So what do you think? Should we do some kind of ritual, ceremony or something before burying Navi?"

(???)-"Errrr... who is Navi?" *The four-armed human asks Jhon*

(Jhon)- "You've got to be kidding me, Max..."

Several people gathered around Navi's body, he was the one who had brought together all those who were there today

His grand ideals moved hearts and gave hope for a noble cause and the creation of that base that with its imposing height blocked the Morning Star

Few spoke or gave any speeches about Navi, even though he was somehow loved by almost everyone there, no one knew him that well

Except for Magnus, even if not apparently

Some time passed and the body would finally be buried

(Magnus)- *gets very close to Navi's ear and murmurs something* "...I'm so sorry..."

Magnus, without looking back, walks quickly away from that situation, his expression didn't change at all but even so, a different air surrounded him

Alan intercepted Magnus before he could move too far away

(Alan)-"Magnus, I don't know how much you knew Navi... but by your face, he must have been very important to you. If you need-" *Magnus gestures to Alan to stop*

(Magnus)-"Don't worry Alan... I knew him as well as anyone here did, I'm just going for a walk, besides- I don't know what you're implying by pointing at my face..."

(Alan)-"And that your face... leave it alone... okay, if you need anything you can always ask me" *Alan stops and thinks for a second* "Even if I'm not that useful!" *he shouts to Magnus who is getting further and further away*

Magnus walks a little and enters the forest that surrounds the entire base area

(Magnus)-"... This time it will be different..." *Magnus clenches his fist tighter and tighter* "Darkness, you will pay for this"
