To say that midoriya was shocked would be an understatement. She had been expecting a beating, not, whatever that was. But she was glad that she didn't have any more bruises or burns to take care of, that meant less to hide from mum. Luckily for her analyses, she did have a few spare, empty notebooks at home so she could make a copy of the notes seeing as how these notes well not unreadable were now a mess due to the dirty pond water.

Once she got home Midorya went to her room. Placing her bag next to her bed and her notebook on her desk, she changed out of her school uniform and into a t-shirt with the word jeans on the front and a pair of grey sweat pants. She sighs as her bra slides off, happy to free the girls.

She then went to her bookshelf that was next to her desk to look for her empty notebooks. She saw something out of the corner of her eye, on the shelf below her empty notebooks was analyses notebook number 9. This one was unique because the side had been coloured in with a pink sparkly gel pen, this one was also written in a simple code.

Maybe she should try coding them again. She had originally done it as a way to keep Kachan from reading them but had quickly found that that tended to make him mad and then he would destroy the notebooks. But, seeing as Kachan had stopped overly caring about the notebooks, now might be a good time to try again.

'Should I make a code or create one? Making one would be much more secure but using one that could be found online would be easier And there are lots of made languages that could be used as ciphers online. What was that cipher the teacher was talking about today?' Midoriya thought.

Moving over to her bag she opened it up and grabbed out the notebook that she used for school work flipping to the most recent page. Ah yes, the stark cipher. "I wonder if I could find this online". She muttered to herself.

Grabbing out her laptop that her mum had gotten her for her last birthday, placing it on her desk and sitting down she opened it up and began to search "the Stark cipher". This pulled up mainly articles on the cipher. "The Stark cipher document" here we go clicking on the first link it was a PDF and up the to was the letter the teacher had been talking about.

A quick look over the PDF showed her one thing, It was really really long like even if you could decipher it, it would take you at least a week. Every character on the doc not including the English was completely unrecognizable even the shapes of the words are completely foreign to him. She had learnt English growing up in order to read some English articles about quirks, But this document wasn't English at all.
So what else could it be?

Just as she felt an idea bubbling on the outskirts of her brain she hears the front door open and close.
"Izuku sweety, can you come help me with dinner?" Her mum called from the kitchen.

"Sure mum" She responded, shutting the laptop and leaving her room.

Heading to the kitchen to see her mom grabbing out ingredients from the fridge "I was thinking of making katsudon for dinner, what do you think" she said as she grabbed out the pork.
"yep that sounds great, I'll help you" she responded with a smile.

Soon enough the katsudon was finished and they were sitting at the table. Saying their thanks, they dug into their meal.
"So how was your day today?"Her mother asked after she had finished her first mouthful.

"Good we learnt a bit about the Stark cipher, How was your day"

"It was busy, there was a villain attack downtown. Don't know what happened, but there were a lot of people injured. I think I remember hearing about that cipher back when I was in school but I had assumed it had been solved years ago"

"No, It hasn't been solved yet. I found it on google and I can see why, it's so long and most people have given up on it"

After that, they continue eating their dinner in silence once done they get up and wash the dishes and both retreated to their respective rooms.
Sitting back down at her desk she looks back over the cipher, There's something about it that she can't quite put her finger on.

After sitting there for way longer than she should have. It hits her. Like a ball being thrown at 100km an hour directly at her face, it hits her.
It's not a cipher.
It's a language.
