"Hey Em," Damon smiled as he dropped his bags on the ground next to the door of their room.

Emma set her laptop down, "Hey."

"Ya know," Damon smirked as he walked to the bed, "last time I came home from a trip you ran into my arms and we had some pretty awesome sex."

"Last time I didn't have to worry whether or not you were gonna know who I was," Emma looked at him sadly, "I figured I'd save myself the heartache if need be."

"Well, lucky for you, I remembered who you were the whole time I was gone," Damon assured her.

"No, you didn't," Bonnie corrected from the doorway.

"What?" Damon scoffed at her, "Yes, I did."

Bonnie gave Emma a sad, soft smile before joining her on the bed; Damon gave up and sat down with them. Bonnie extended her hands out for them to take, Emma hesitated.

"Bonnie, is there anything you can do to make this stop happening?" Emma asked.

"I don't know," Bonnie said honestly, "I can only show you this because it's actually Damon seeing what I saw, but we will figure something out Emma."

Emma finally let Bonnie have her hand and gave Damon her other.

Emma watched as Bonnie showed her what she had seen. They were in a frat house with a party was going on. Bonnie walked to the edge of a dance floor; it didn't take long for Emma to spot Damon and Elena dancing together, it would have been innocent enough, except that they both seemed so strung out on a blood high that they couldn't help what was happening. Elena reached up and wiped blood off of Damon's neck before seductively licking her finger, Damon seemed to be in a different world as he watched her. He put his hands on her hips and pulled her closer as they continued to sway to the dance music being played. The only thing that stopped their euphoria was when Elena spotted Bonnie staring at her, she began to panic and walked away.

Bonnie stepped up to Damon and shoved his shoulder, "How do you think this is going to make Emma feel?"

"Who?" Damon asked as he watched Elena walking away, pissed that his party had been broken up.

"Emma...your..." Bonnie stopped when she realized that Damon really didn't know who Emma was.

She grabbed his wrist and tried to find Emma somewhere in his mind, but she was nowhere. The vision ended as Bonnie released Damon's wrist.

Bonnie let go of their hands, but Emma was in too much shock to move hers from Damon's. Damon watched as Emma finally let go of his hand and took a deep breath before running her hands through her hair and then relaxing as much as she could.

Emma looked down at her hands on her lap, "What's going to happen when this starts lasting longer then a few hours?"

"Em, that's not going to happen," Damon tried to reassure Emma just as much as he was trying to assure himself.

"How did this even happen?" Bonnie asked.

"The first day we got back from the road trip, he attacked me; but he snapped out of it as soon as I screamed," Emma told her.

"Why are you just now telling me?" Bonnie asked.

Emma shrugged, "Honestly, everyone was so busy with the damn hunter situation that I didn't get a chance, and up to that point it had only been for a few minutes at most."

"Did something happen on your trip?" Bonnie asked.

"I was sent to an 1864 version of hell," Damon shrugged.
