Finally!!

Part 33

Beca was back at work. It felt weird being away from Chloe and Hailee but knowing Hailee was starting school this morning put her mind at ease. Hailee was a good kid and Beca trusted that she would thrive in school and make loads of friends. What she didn't trust was her giving Chloe a hard time.

Beca pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind when Theo began to speak again. "You ready to get back to it Mitchel?" He asked as he stepped into the recording both with two coffees and handed one to the artist.

"You bet" she replied back looking back over her music.

"Where did you get the inspiration for this song?" Theo asked. Beca tilted her head at him and laughed. "My wife? But it was from the point of view of us after we just left collage. Isn't it obvious?"

Theo bit his lip and read over the lyrics before breaking out into a smile. "Ahh no wait yeah I see it now"

Beca shook her head as she drank her coffee. Getting her self ready as Theo sat behind his desk getting ready.

He gave Beca a thumbs up telling her he was ready before receiving one back. The backing track they had created started to play through.

And I became hypnotized
By freckles and bright eyes
Tongue tied

As Beca sang the pre chorus she felt as if something was wrong with the coming to the chorus she she stopped singing and brought her hand up to halt Theo.

Theo sighed knowing this was going to be a long day.

"Hailee, baby come on" Chloe shouted up the stairs to her daughter who was sent away over twenty minutes ago to get dressed for her first day of school and still hadn't come downstairs yet.

Hailee emerged from her room dressed in a pair of white denim short, a green top with little white dots on it and her beloved airforce ones. Chloe had braided her hair earlier on this morning after her shower and she was now ready to go.

Hailees back pack sat at the front door along with Chloe's hand bag. The previous night they had decided on what type of lunch hailee had wanted and Chloe made it for her putting it into her lunchbox and then stuffing it into her bag.

Her bag had some pencils and colouring pens inside. A snack, Her lunch. A water bottle. Her gym clothes and some other little things.

Chloe grabbed her morning coffee off the kitchen counter and her phone. "Go grab your backpack and we can take a picture for your mom" Hailee ran off to collect her backpack and threw it over her shoulders while she stood in front of Chloe with a big toothy smile.

Chloe snapped the picture before sending it to Beca.

"Let go then baby. Cant be late for your first day"
Chloe grabbed her keys and off they went.

Emily and Benji where still living the high life after getting married. Unfortunately though both of them had to return to work eventually.

Emily had been back at work for a few now and was finalising a song she had wrote. She was in the studio just down from Beca finalising her piece. Her producer Ethan was smiling away as he listened to the song.

She had wrote the song and sang most of it her self but she had collaborated with Anderson Paak. Luckily Beca was good friend with Bruno Mars and currently Bruno and Anderson were a very well know collaborative duo called silk sonic so when Beca heard about Emily's knew song she put a good word in for her with Bruno and Anderson was dying to work with Emily.
