Dahyun and I sat in the back as Hoshi steered his car through traffic. I looked at his smartphone and checked what Hoshi had written.

JIHYO WANT TO CLUB. He asked permission?

He managed to deliver it before I snatched it up, but Taehyung's answer came shortly after.

NO

My blood boils. Dahyun panted. "I can't believe his thoughts"

Hoshi glanced at us through the rearview mirror. "Did Taehyung reply to my messages?"

"Yes" I said. "He said you should keep an eye on me all the time."

Hoshi believed my lie and was completely relaxed. Dahyun winked. Taehyung will be angry, but I really can't bring myself to care. Hoshi parked the car beside the alley and took us around the building. Next to me was a long line of people waiting at the entrance but Hoshi led us through.

"Hey stupid bastard, there's a queue," shouted a man. Hoshi paused, cold anger replacing his usual calm.

"Go ahead," Hoshi said to us before he turned to the man. Dahyun grabbed my hand and dragged me to the two guards in front. They were as tall and muscular as Taehyung.

"You don't look old enough to visit a club," the dark-skinned man said.

"Is that a problem?" Dahyun asked with a small smile.

The man's eyes moved behind me. "Hoshi," he said with some confusion.

"She's the wife of our boss, Minhyun. This is Jihyo Vittielo and his sister Dahyun scunderi from Outfit."

The two men looked at me, then stepped back respectfully. "We didn't know you guys would come tonight. The boss didn't say anything," said Minhyun.

Hoshi grimaced, but didn't say anything. Instead he led Dahyun and me inside, past the bluish-tinged cloakroom and bar area.. Behind him the door opened onto a dark dancefloor. Blue and white lights flash and the beat of hip hop hits our ears. Dahyun pulled my hand, wanting to go in that direction.

"We have to meet Taehyung first," said Hoshi.

"He's here?" I asked surprised.

Hoshi nodded. "The club has several back rooms and basements where we handle business."

"Why don't you go tell him that I was here when Dahyun and I entered the dancefloor."

Hoshi looked at me. "There's no dancing in a place like this for you guys, it's too dangerous, too risky"

"That's your problem. Dahyun and I will stay there" Hoshi grabbed my wrist. I tensed up. "Let me go there right now" I hissed and he complied, his breath hitched. Dahyun and I entered the club. The music vibrated under our feet as if the floor came to life. The club is packed with bodies writhing in a dance. Hoshi followed my sister and I as we entered the crowd of dancers into another area of the bar.

"Two gin tonics," I said. The bartender frowned for a while before looking at Hoshi, then prepared our drinks and handed them to us. Hoshi leaned over the bar and said something to the man, who nodded and walked around the bar. I know what it means. I took a sip of my drink, then put it down and stepped onto the dance floor.

I let the music claim my body and start squirming to the beat of the music. Dahyun grinned widely, She looks happier after a long time I didn't see her. He moved his hips and buttocks, swaying and twisting his hips. I stepped closer and imitated his movements. Our eyes close when we don't care about our surroundings anymore, when we let the music carry us. I'm not sure where Hoshi is and I don't care. This feels like a freedom to me.
