She recognised a few faces, people she'd seen in movies, people who finn had mentioned. She took a shaky breath, her eyes making their way to the exit. Her breath caught in her throat as she looked back at the crowd.
No, she had to do this.
"Finn was the first person to talk to me on set."

23 September 2016.
Sadie sat on the singular seat, the words "Sink, Sadie" stuck onto the back of them. She gnawed at her nails anxiously, anxiety building up inside her stomach. She'd been so excited to join s2 of stranger things, that she'd forgotten all about the awkward part- meeting new people. Her eyes made their way towards the exit, debating on whether or not she should leave when all of a sudden a hand tapped her on the shoulder.
"Sadie, right?" the voice spoke, low yet soft. She looked up, seeing a lanky boy with a huge mop of hair on his head, and pale skin which caused his freckles to pop out. His nose was long and slightly crooked, but its tip was rosy, matching his lips' sanguineness. His eyelashes were long and feminine; all features made up a welcoming face. He gave her a small smile, before shaking his head slightly in remembrance. "Shit, right- sorry. I'm Finn," he said, sitting sloppily beside her as he extended his hand for her to shake. "Yeah- yeah I know," she replied, still slightly stunned. She felt her face turn bright red, clashing with her ginger hair. "Not- not like it sat, it's just- well- I've seen the show," she muttered sheepishly, refusing to meet his eye. He let out a small laugh. "Yeah, no worries, I've seen you on broadway." She looked at him, surprised. "You have?" she asked, slightly shocked. "Yeah, I went to see Caleb's final performance of the lion king, saw Annie was on later that year and booked tickets." He shrugged slightly, giving her a loopy grin.
Huh, she thought. He seemed awkward, his actions matching his size. He was skinnier in person, with a lanky body; this and his height all added up to his clumsiness. She only smiled politely back at him, giving him the freedom to talk more. He didn't though, only sat there, fiddling with his fingers. A few minutes later, she heard him take a breath and turned to face him.
"You don't film today, do you?" he asked, giving his head a slight tilt. She shook hers, and he nodded slightly in understanding. "So, are you here to meet us all, or..." he trailed off, looking at her expectantly. She nodded slightly. He frowned. "You're not a talker, are you?" She didn't respond, so he carried on. " That's cool, I wasn't either. Then I met Caleb and you could not shut me up," he said, laughing slightly. She only sat there awkwardly, unsure of what to say next, and he sighed. "We gotta go skating sometime, huh?" he said, and she shrugged slightly. "Max skates," he stated. She, of course, knew this already but gave him a polite nod. "I skate," he said, giving her a polite smile. "I'm guessing you don't, since you're getting lessons with Andrew." She shook her head. "How do you know his name?" she asked softly, barely loud enough for even her to hear. (But he did.)
"I recommended him," he said giving her a slight grin. "Hey, that got you talking!" he exclaimed, giving her a soft nudge. Her face turned bright red and she didn't respond, only shrugged. "Shit, that stopped you talking. You should talk more, you've to go' a nice voice n' all that," he stated, giving her a grin. "Well, I've got filming, but I'll see ya' round, yeah?" he said, placing a hand on her shoulder 'goodbye'. He gave her a warm smile, before turning around to leave, tripping over the chair in the process. She heard him mumble a series of curse words, before apologising to the chair as he lumbered off, a backpack way too small for him hanging off his shoulder. She watched him go, her cheeks a pale pink, the feeling of his hand on her shoulder leaving a warm, fuzzy feeling on her skin.
23 December 2023.
Sadie looked up nervously, clearing her throat. She looked around, seeing everyone's solemn faces. "Everyone here who's had the pleasure of meeting finn should know, their first encounters with him always make you feel special. He always had a hold on my heart, and probably yours too." She coughed again. "It's not only the first moments with Finn that are special, but every moment. If you wanted me to tell you every time I've been with Finn and felt special;, I would be here for the rest of my life. Because Finn made you feel like you were a living angel, although you were ... well, the most important person in his life. And if I'm honest, we didn't deserve Finn, we didn't deserve his stupid jokes, his weird ice cream flavour combinations, and his constant compliments. He deserved all those and more, but we never gave them to him." She sniffed slightly, wiping a tear off her cheek. "We all miss him dearly," she spoke. "I miss him," she whispered, her voice cracking. She gathered up her papers, hopped down from the podium and instead of to her seat, walked out of the hall.
She felt her body shake with tears, her sobs loud in the empty hall, She collapsed to the ground against the wall, her tears causing her mascara to run. She felt a body beside her place a hand on her shoulder, "Hey, don't cry," a familiar voice mumbled. She looked up, with tear-stained face, seeing a boy. A lanky boy with a huge mop of hair on his head, and pale skin which caused his freckles to pop out. His nose was long and slightly crooked, but its tip was rosy, matching his lips' sanguineness. His eyelashes were long and feminine; all features made up a welcoming face.
"Finn?" she hissed.
