WRONG CHOICE

The next morning was soothing and fresh. The memories of the previous day struck their minds, bringing a smile to their faces. They woke up and went through their morning routines, freshening up for the day.

As they went downstairs for breakfast, to their surprise, Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung were already there. Y/n, Maria, and Sara took their seats, and Mr. Lim, served them food.

Jimin turned his face towards Y/n while chewing his food. Y/n looked back at him and nodded, understanding that he was trying to say something but waiting for his food to finish.

"We have to go shopping because Namjoon hyung's birthday is the day after tomorrow," Jimin finally said. They all exchanged glances, realizing the importance of the upcoming event.

Jungkook, eager to get started, spoke up, "Yeah, hyung, you're right!" He was about to stand up without finishing his food, but Maria stopped him, reminding him to finish eating first.

Taehyung, overflowing with excitement, stood up and placed his dish in the sink. "I'm done with my food," he declared.

Sara remained silent throughout this exchange, as Taehyung had been ignoring her since yesterday and hadn't even responded to her greeting. Jimin and Y/n noticed this and exchanged concerned glances.

Jimin elbowed Y/N, silently asking her what happened. Before she could respond, Sara stood up, placing her unfinished dish in the sink, and swiftly retreated to their shared room.

Y/N glanced at Sara, then shifted her gaze towards Taehyung, who noticed her staring at him. Taehyung gave her an innocent "I didn't do anything" expression. In response, Y/N motioned for him to go after Sara.

Taehyung nodded and followed her in the direction she had gone. Y/N turned her attention back to Jimin and Jungkook, wondering what was going on between them this time. Jungkook grimly remarked that it seemed more serious than before.

Jimin considered whether he should talk to Sara. Y/n gave him an assuring look, advising him to let them be for now. If things didn't improve, they could intervene later. The group nodded and hummed in agreement.
Jimin nodded in agreement with Y/n's suggestion. "Let's give them some time to sort things out on their own," he said softly.

Jungkook chimed in, "Yeah, forcing them to talk might make things worse. We should respect their space for now."

Y/n sighed, feeling a mix of worry and hope. "I just hope they can resolve whatever issue they're facing. They've been close for so long, it's hard to see them like this."

Jimin placed a comforting hand on Y/n's shoulder. "I understand how you feel, but sometimes relationship go through rough patches. We can be there for them when they're ready to open up."

Taehyung pov

I entered the room after knocking on the door, and there she was, sitting at the bed. When our eyes met, she turned her face away with an angry expression, although I couldn't help but find her cute with her red nose, swollen lips, and wet eyelashes indicating she had been crying. She refused to look at me, so I stood in front of her in silence, just staring at her. She could sense my gaze, waiting for me to speak first, but when she realized I wasn't going to, she raised her face to meet mine and asked, "Why are you here?"

I didn't know how to respond this time, but her look melted me. She was holding back tears, and I didn't want to say anything that might make her cry again. So, I decided to sit beside her, and she kept looking at me in the same way she did before. She stared at me intently until I was seated next to her.

I apologized, admitting that I was sorry for being jealous in the first place. She looked at me with a mix of confusion and understanding, and then her gaze shifted to her plushie. She followed my gaze and realized what I was trying to say. She chuckled and lightly slapped my arm, saying, "It was just a present, you fool." I turned to look at her and said, "You're right, it was just a present, but I want to give you something else." She stared at me for a moment and then replied, "Then give me something that I can never get tired of... like your presence."
