why do i feel odd?

"Evie wake up time for school!" It was my mum calling my name. I check the time. It was 7:00am.
Why does school start early? It interrupted my dream!
I got out of bed and went down stairs to have breakfast. After breakfast I went back up stairs to get ready for school.
Ties are a nonsense but I'm use to doing them so it was pretty easy to do.
After I got change I waited till 8:30 to leave for school as my bag was ready and waiting. Leaning against the cupboard in the kitchen.

I went into my tutor and sat down with two of my friends Logan and Keira. We chatted until the bell went and we left for out 2nd period which was geography.
As we walked over to our class me and Keira were talking with each other about minecraft which is our favourite game to play after school.
I asked her "I've seen so many people with boyfriends now. I don't get what's the big deal!"
"I don't know but I'm dating ciaran now which is nice."
I was walking in silence trying to figure out why other people were getting a relationship but I wasn't..

The last lesson for the day had come up and I was so ready to just crash onto my bed with all my stuffed toys and close my eyes after a boring Monday. I have one of my best friends behind my called Charlie. I kept throwing stuff at him as a joke and he did the same as keira and jess sat there watching us. The bell finally went and I waited for keira to get her stuff and we both walked out of the building and left the schools ground after saying goodbye to each other.

I got home and said hello to my dog as she was happy to see me. Later in the night my mind came back to why I wasn't getting the need to want to be in a relationship. I felt odd. Kinda left out.
