~Third Person POV~
It had been a few days after the trial. Kanae had met all of Tanjiro's friends, but something, more like someone, wouldn't leave her mind.
'Why do I keep thinking about him? Am I developing feelings for Tomioka..' Kanae thought as she watched Aoi argue with Zenitsu about the medicine he had to take.
She head back to her room, shutting the door behind her and sighing.
'I must have developed a crush on him, but who should I ask to confirm.. Oh I know!' Kanae thought, having her crow come to her.
"Hey, can you deliver to message for me?"
After about an hour or so, Kanae heard a knock on the door. When she opened it, she was met with green eyes..
"Hi Kanae-Chan!" Mitsuri said loudly, excited to see the Flower Pillar.
"Hello Mitsuri! Come in!" Kanae said, stepping to the side to let Mitsuri in. She lead her to the living room, where Shinobu was sitting on the couch.
"Hello Shinobu-Chan!" Mitsuri yelled, running to her best friend. Shinobu went all red due to the sudden hug and struggling to breathe.
"Mitsuri.. I think she's dying" Kanae said. Mitsuri quickly let go.
"Oops! My bad! Sorry Shinobu!" Mitsuri said, taking a seat next to Shinobu. Kanae also sat down.
"Anyways, I need your help with something Mitsuri.." Kanae said, embarrassed.
"Oh! Wait.. DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON SOMEONE?!" Mitsuri yelled, excited.
"..I think so.." Kanae said, looking away, blushing.
"Kyaa! Who?! And why do you think so?!" Mitsuri asked, loudly and speaking fast.
"..I can't get him out of my mind.. I'm always thinking about him and whenever I do, I smile.." Kanae answered, turning her head to look at the two.
"Kya! You definitely like him!! Who is it!!?" Mitsuri asked, getting up in Kanae's face. Shinobu looked at them, kind of jealous. She didn't know why though so she just watched, waiting impatiently for her sister's answer.
"... Tomioka.." Kanae answered, laying back on the couch for some personal space.
"KYAAAAA!!!!!!! OH MY GOD THATS SO CUTE!" Mitsuri screamed excitedly, hugging her best friend to calm down..
"While we are here.. SHINOBU! WHO DO YOU LIKE?! EVERYTIME WE ARE AT A MEETING, YOU SEEM TO BLUSH A LOT! WHO IS IT?!" Mitsuri said, now up in Shinobu's face.
"I.. I don't want to say.." Shinobu said, looking away blushing.
"What if it's Tomi-"
"It's not.. It's someone else.." Shinobu said, cutting Mitsuri off. Shinobu was blushing more.
"I won't force it, but I WILL found out who it is eventually!" Mitsuri said, getting up.
"Kanae, you should tell him eventually! Don't fear rejection!" Mitsuri said, heading towards the door.
"I have to go now! Bye!" Mitsuri said, exiting the Butterfly Mansion.
"So, you have a crush on Tomioka-san? How interesting.." Shinobu said, finally gaining composer.
"Yes, and how about you? Are you into girls or something~?" Kanae asked, getting up and sitting next to Shinobu.
"What?! Where did you get that from?!" Shinobu asked, surprised and embarrassed.
"Well.. You were blushing hardcore when Mits-"
"Fine! I have a crush on Mitsuri! There happy?!" Shinobu said, turning away and crossing her arms.
"Very! You should tell her! Like she said, don't fear rejection!" Kanae said, patting Shinobu's back before heading to her room.
"I'm going to lay down for a bit! I'll be down for dinner shortly!" Kanae said, leaving an embarrassed Shinobu sitting on the couch.
