Mysterious King

Queen to be

Once there lived 6 kingdoms. All whom are under the rule of fair and kind rulers.

The kingdom of Emerald ruled by king Aztec and Queen Aleena. The king and queen have two sons Sonic and Silver.

The kingdom of Ruby ruled by Queen Artemis and her two children Blaze and Aeros.

The Earth kingdom now placed under the rule of king Knuckles and his wife Queen Rouge since the untimely death of his father.

The Iron kingdom ruled by king Oxford and Queen Tina with their son Tails whom is soon to be married to Lady Cream.

Next comes the Kingdom of Thorns ruled by the newly crowned king Shadow after his parents timely death to illness.

Finally the beautiful kingdom of Flowers ruled by the much beloved King Rain and his wife Queen Violet. The two have two beautiful daughters Honey and Amy.

All kingdoms lived in harmony for centuries until a feud between Shadows and Amy's grandfathers caused the two kingdoms to end deals and other things. The other four kingdoms remained neutral to prevent a war. Since then both kingdoms have become enemies.

Now let our story begin

Birds sing as the sun rose over the mountains and the light slowly shines on the fields of sleeping flowers. The flowers start spreading out their pedals bringing color to the plain field. A rooster crows outside a farm house waking its residents to start the day. The village slowly starts filling up with merchants and others wanting to buy their products. It was a glorious morning for the kingdom of flowers because their princess is to become queen after the ball being held by her parents to find her a worthy suitor. Up in the tower like section of the castle the birds chirp right outside her window as she smiles waking up to their song. "Good morning red birds" Amy said getting up from the silk bed. The birds let her finger pet their heads and the fluff their feathers making the princess giggle. "Silly birds" she said as she gets ready for the day. She puts on her teal dress and brushes her long pink hair humming. She knows today is the they she pick a husband. Of course she wanted to see who would love her for her and not her beauty or crown. So she asked her father if he could make it a Masquerade ball which he of course agreed to. As she heads to the castle library the castle was busy preparing for the ball tonight. Plates clattering, servants mopping, guards being told where they should be during the ball, and food coming in and out of the kitchen. Amy snatched an apple and slice of bread as she walks pass the trays of food before going into the library where it was calm and quiet with the maids dusting the books. Amy finds one and sits in her usual seat next to the window reading her favorite story as she enjoys her meal. "GOOD MORNING SISTER!!" Honey yelled from behind making Amy jump and drop her book. "HONEY!" She yelled back dusting herself off and picking up the booking dusting it as well. "Don't scare me like that now what do you want?" Amy asked shooting her sister a death glare. "Well I wanted to see if ya wanted come dress shopping with me and mother" "No I already have a dress tonight now please leave me alone to read" Amy said sitting back down. "Fine bookworm" honey huffed flipping her black hair as she leaves. Amy shakes her head and goes back to her book until she was interrupted again by her father. "Amy darling?" Rain said and smiled as his daughter looks up. "Yes father?" "Come child we must talk" he said and she nods placing her book down. The two walk through the garden as the Rain holds back tears in his emerald eyes. "Father are you ok?" Amy asked. "Yes as you know you will find a suitor to whom you shall rule this kingdom with and combine the kingdoms. This will grow our kingdoms as one. "Yes father but.... I do have something to tell you.... I may have invited the King of the Thorn kingdom to the ball...." "YOU WHAT?!" "Father please as queen I wish to make peace for our kingdoms this feud has gone on long enough. Besides he's alone since the death of his parents. Perhaps this will warm him up to us and we could be at peace once more" Amy said. "Spoken like a true queen very well but if he does anything to disrupt the ball he shall leave" "Yes father."

Meanwhile in the Kingdom of thorns King Shadow had just received the personal invite from the princess. His ruby eyes scroll through the invitation and cracks a small smile.

King Shadow,

You are hereby personally invited by the princess herself to the masquerade ball for princess Amy of the kingdom of flowers.

PS: Princess Amy would love for you to join and to discuss peace between both kingdoms.

"I see.... I heard of Princess Amy's kindness and peace would be better for my people...." Shadow thought looking at the invitation thinking how peace could've saved his parents if they weren't so hell bent on this pointless feud.
