Hope and Josie sat at each side of the dinner table just as Maddy did. The auburn haired girl burnt holes into maddy's soul.
If Hope wanted to be brutal, she would kill the girl that sat right in front of her but then again she knew that Josie would be pissed off.
Hope tried to be nice, for Josie of course but a part of her couldn't hold it in for longer, she seen the looks that Maddy was giving Josie.
—"so what the hell are you doing at my house?" Hope finally spoke up before she took a sip of her drink.
Maddy rolled her eyes before Josie gave Hope the look. "I'm here because Josie. I came to see her. She's one of my good friends, and what would I be like to not come and visit?" Maddy asked as she smiled brightly at the brunette.
Josie was starting to get a weird feeling and uncomfortable because of the way the girl was looking at her.
Hope rolled her eyes before taking a bite of the food and then pushing it to the side. "I love this, it's so good, baby." Hope got up from the chair and she kissed Josie's forehead. "I'm going to save it for later though, I lost my appetite." Hope announced before she took her plate and left towards the kitchen.
Maddy watched Hope leave with a grin on her face. "So, how is everything going with you two? You don't seem to be happy." Maddy shrugged before she took a bite of the food.
Josie jumped out of her seat and she scoffed. "What the hell is wrong with you? I invite you into my home and you do nothing but disrespect my girlfriend. You don't have a chance so you could just stop trying." The brunette rolled her eyes.
Maddy played her innocent part and she chewed at her bottom lip. "I'm sorry if you think I'm hitting on you or something but I wasn't, I was actually-"
"Save it, I don't care nor do I have the time for you. I'm sorry Maddy but we can't be friends, not when you have something for me knowing I'm in a serious relationship." Josie says as she started to clean up the table. "You can use the door, I'm sure your brain is smarter enough to find out, or maybe it's not because your brain wasn't even smart enough to stop you from hitting on a women that's spoken for." Josie groaned.
She didn't like how she sounded. She wasn't the type to speak out of character but Hope meant a lot to her and she would do just about anything to keep the one she loves most.
Maddy scoffed before grabbing her things. "I was just trying to be a nice person, and quite frankly I was doing you a favor. She's has anger issues she could hurt you-"
Josie slammed her hand down on the table. "Don't you ever speak bad about her, especially in front of me! And Hope would never hurt me. All this anger issues talk is beyond me because everyone has a little anger inside them. It's just a matter of time before you get to your breaking part, only difference with Hope is that she looks hot in that state, not many could pull it off." Josie snapped as she held up a fork.
The brunette eyes widened as she dropped the fork down in the counter, she didn't mean to get that angry but she hated when people spoke bad about Hope and everyone else she loved, it was a weak trait. "Look, just get out. I shouldn't have let you take me out of my character." Josie says before she walked over to the door and opened it.
Maddy hesitated before she stormed out of the room. Josie slammed the door and she ran her fingers through her hair.
Was it bad that Josie didn't feel any guilt? The girl was happy with herself.

As Josie finally got done cleaning up downstairs, she made her way upstairs where she found Hope fast asleep.
The girl must have slept the anger off of herself.
Josie smiled as she kissed hopes forehead. The brunette then placed the covers over the auburn haired girl and she turned around as she accidentally knocked down hopes coat, with hopes coat fell a box.
The brunette looked at the box and her eyes widened because she knew what it was.
She reached down to pick it up as she placed one knee to the floor and the other still up.
Josie opened up the box to see the most beautifulest ring she ever saw. She was amazed and happy all in one.
The day went from the most depressing and fucked up day of her life to the best day.
"I was supposed to do that." Hope voice broke Josie out of her train of thought.
The brunette was startled as she looked up to the auburnette. Josie realized that it did look as if she was proposing from the position she was in.
—"Hope, I-"
Hope cut the poor girl off as a smile creeped onto her lips. "You're so cute." Hope muttered before she leaned over to her girlfriend and pecked her on her the lips. "That was supposed to be a surprised."
"But I ruined it." Josie frowned as she looked down at the ring.
Hope chuckled and shook her head. "You didn't ruin anything." Hope says before she got up from the bed. "You could never ruin anything." Hope admits before pulling Josie up onto her two feet. "Can I do the honors now?" The auburn haired girl asked.
"Yes, well not yes to marriage but yes to you proposing—not that I'm going to say no but that beats the whole point of asking if you know my answ-"
"Josie." Hope called as she searched the brunettes eyes.
Josie nodded "yes?"
"Calm down, breathe."
Josie chuckled before Hope got onto one knee. "I've failed a lot of people in my life and I can't go back in time to change that. I also can't go back in time to make things right. I only can go as on the future and learn from my mistakes. So here's me learning from one of them." Hope paused for a moment as she held out the ring. "I love you too much to let you go and we suffer from too much to let this go to waste. So, Josette, would you be willing to take this last name and everything that comes with it?"
Josie smiled before chuckling a bit . "You make being a mikaelson sound terrible."
"Sometimes it can be." Hope chuckled a bit. "So will you?"
