undying love (anakin)

he was there. waiting, in your room. he couldn't handle it much longer, but when you finally arrive he would promise to stay until you fell asleep.

"ani?"

"anakin, are you here?"

he came up behind you silently, and without a trace, fluttered his finger over your shoulder, knocking you back with a fright.

"anakin!" you hoped he was here, because now you were getting scared.

he glided over to the front side of you, showing his face now, and smiling his sweet smirk that you'd grown so much to love.

he then began holding you close to him, looking down into your y/e/c eyes.

they glittered, like the fate of the galaxy was in them.

you were the fate of anakin's galaxy.

he then moved away from you slowly, tracing his hands along your waist and hips but stopping only to take you into his arms and kiss you. he truly loved you, and a moment such as this was one in a million with a solitary person as anakin. obi-wan would kill if he found out.

he kissed you sweetly, cupping your face in his hand, and brushing your hair out of your face as well. he then moved to have his hands around your neck instead, and then stopped kissing you, but started to twirl you around.

"anakin!" you squealed, blushing. 

"is there a problem, milady?"

"absolutely not, ani. i love you."

"impossible. i love you more."

"anakin, i've missed you. today was a hard day at work and to have all of that was exactly what i wanted."

"you're welcome, then. now go to sleep."

"i couldn't possibly. i'm not tired. oh, i know! sing my favorite song!"

"but-y/n- i can't sing and you know it."

"yes you can!!! sing me a song, please?"

you looked up at him from your bed, which you had just climbed into and wrapped yourself in the comforter. you added puppy eyes for dramatic effect, but you fell over giggling.

he pulled a chair over to beside your bed and then sang your favorite song to you.
