used to think that you were someone.

"I'm so glad you're back in South Korea!" Hanuel exclaims, bringing in her smaller friend into a tight hug. Zana smiles widely and laughs.

"We have SO MUCH to talk about! Come sit on the couch, I made some lemonade for us." Hanuel gently tugs Zana's hand towards the living room.

This is a really nice house. Zana thought. Wonder if she lives with her mother still.

Hastily helping her put down her bags on the floor, Hanuel sits Zana down next to her.
"Sooo how was Australia?" Hanuel sips in amusement.

Zana giggles. "It was great! But honestly I got too homesick so I had to come back, even for just a bit." Hanuel nods.

"That's understandable, oh wait you told me you need help with college admissions right?" Hanuel questions.

"Oh yes, if it's not any trouble-"

"Z I've been friends with you for years! Of course I wouldn't mind. Also I'm volunteering for freshmen intakes this month so you might as well need my help anyways."

Zana widens her eyes and Hanuel laughs. Apparently she's Head of Student Council as well, which intimidated Zana more. But Hanuel isn't the type to boss people around, she's more to, scaring people into doing their job.

Which works, in her defense.

Hours went by, and a few lemonade glasses empty later. Papers were splattered all over on the floor and Zana's once perfect bangs were pushed back from nervous sweating.

"And done! You're in. Welcome to SVT Uni!" Hanuel raises her hands up in excitement and Zana cheers. Not that she was worried or anything, Hanuel did tug on a few strings for her to get into the courses she wanted.
(Just don't tell the dean.)

"Nuel, I'm home." The front door creaks open, a quiet yet deep voice entering the room. Zana unconsciously looked to see who it was.

It was a tall guy, headphones in, wrapped around his light brown curly hair. Only wearing a plain black shirt with dark grey jeans. His jawline apparent and his collarbones slightly showing as he takes off his headphones.

His eyes meet Zana's and she flushes. She bows out of embarrassment, hiding her obviously red face. Hanuel glances over.

"Hey Sol, this is my friend and first ever applicant, Zana. She's from high school, you remember her right?" Hanuel nonchalantly says and faces her older brother.

"Oh yeah. The one that took a gap year, right?" Hansol smiles at Zana, making her cheeks go red again. Zana nods awkwardly.

Hanuel laughs sarcastically. "Oh so you do listen? Good to know, loser." Hansol rolls his eyes. "Whatever, goblin."
Hansol looks at Zana's way again, giving her a small smile as he heads towards his room.

"Don't worry about him, he's always that anti-social. Maybe you guys can get to know each other on campus." Hanuel smiles.
Zana's chest tightens, she hopes she won't fall another asshole this time, especially not her best friend's brother.

Zana sighs as she arrives at the halls of campus. Hanuel was too busy to greet her in the morning as she had to help the student council after orientation prep. Not that it bothered Zana, she had to be on her way to the next class anyways.

After finishing most of her classes of the day, Zana's phone vibrates in her jean pocket. A text notification from Hanuel appears on her screen.

'wanna get lunch tgt? the members are almost done w prep T-T ' - Nuelz

'ofc! i'll wait by the campus fountain :D' - Z
