My First Love

Ohm: "What are you hiding?"

Nanon: "Nothing."

Nanon shut close his drawer and locked it before walking out of the room.

Ohm: "I am not forcing or anything but... We are arranged to be married soon. Are you going to keep secrets from me?"

Nanon poured tea in two cups and sat on the table keeping one cup for self and the other cup in front of Ohm's chair.

Nanon: "Let's talk over tea."

Ohm huffed to brush away any annoyance that could show on his face and came to sit on the chair anyway. He took a sip of his tea and immediately his frown turned to a smile.

Ohm: "You always make the best tea."

Nanon smiled back at him.

Nanon: "I know. That's why you wanted to marry me isn't it?"

Ohm chuckled and leaned forward to hold his hand.

Ohm: "True that. This tea reminds me of my childhood."

Nanon: "What do you mean?"

Ohm: "My parents used to get a particular tea from their favorite shop. Even as a kid I used to love having that tea."

Nanon: "I love making tea as well. Maybe because we own a tea plantation."

Ohm smiled and continued devouring his drink.

Nanon: "Is that the only reason why you agreed to marry me?"

Ohm: "Isn't that good enough?"

Nanon smirked.

Ohm: "I know you don't like me that way yet."

Nanon finished his tea and pressed his lips nervously. His dimples showing even when he was not smiling. Ohm felt giddy and had a sudden urge to caress his cheek.

Nanon: "I can try to like you. Isn't that good enough?"

Ohm smiled and reached his hand out to do what he wanted. He very warmly caressed his cheek.

Ohm: "That's more than enough."

Nanon smiled at Ohm and held his hand giving it a quick squeeze before very carefully retracting without offending him. Ohm understood the discomfort nonetheless. But was happy looking at Nanon refilling his cup.

Ohm: "Thank you."

Nanon: "Thank you too."

Ohm: "Can I ask you something?"

Nanon: "Yes?"

Ohm: "Have you ever liked someone?"

Nanon: "I did. In fact, I still do."

Ohm went stern for a while before smiling gently again.

Ohm: "Can you tell me about them?"

Nanon: "Will you not be offended?"

Ohm: "I won't know unless you tell me."

Nanon looked up at Ohm once and smiled.

Nanon: "My first love was when I was 9 years old."

Ohm: "Oh... Wow... And you love them still?"

Nanon chuckled.

Nanon: "Do you think I am hopeless?"

Ohm: "Not at all... I can love you like that forever too."

Nanon's smile faded at once and changed to nervousness looking flustered at the unyielding gaze of the guy in front of him. Ohm raised his eyebrow at Nanon still keeping his smile intact making Nanon want to be honest with him.
