Chapter One

3rd person pov

I'm finally back to gravity falls!, it's been.. well.. 4 years since we've been here.. when me and Mabel got out of the bus she literally said all the things we did in the summer.. let's just say our parents weren't happy, but after lots of us begging to go we finally convinced them to go back!

I have this journal with me at all times ever since Mabel gave me on the last days of summer 4 years ago, it's kinda my diary sometimes, but most of them are about paranormal creatures and suspicious things I found in piedmont, I can finally write something about them!

I barely had time since we had school and all I'm still kind of a loner there but atleast there was no distractions!, there's tons of pages that aren't filled though but my goal this summer is to write what I find! And maybe discover creatures Great Uncle Ford didn't find yet!

Dipper wrote in his journal, as he finished he closed his journal and looked out the window smiling at the beautiful scenery while his sister Mabel was all jumpy in her seat excited to meet her grunkles and friends in gravity falls again

"I'm so excited to finally see Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford again!! Aren't you??
I AM!!!" Mabel said the last word in a slightly high-pitched voice and flinging her arms in the air

"Mostly but totally not as you are! How many packs of sugar did you eat??"
Dipper asked concerned about his sister's health

"That's a mystery you need to solve with the help of.."

"Detective Waddles!, oink oink!" Mabel pulls waddles out of nowhere and grabs his hooves and shoves him in Dipper's face while Waddles lick him

Both of them laughs
The Bus stops and the door opens

Mabel gasps when she looked outside "We're finally here!! Come on dip dip!!"

Mabel grabbed her suitcase, pet waddles and ran to the door
Dipper chuckled as he saw his sister almost trip as she ran "Hey! wait for me!"

The bus door closes as it left
The two grunkle's greeted their niece and nephew with a big ol' hug

"You guys made it!" Stan said being happy to meet them again "Long time no see!" Ford smiled at them

Mabel hugged their grunkle's and greeted them "Grunkle Stan! Grunkle Ford! I missed you guys! How was the bonding?"

"it was crazy! Let Stanley tell the story to you while I talk to Dipper" Ford looked at Dipper writing something in his journal

"let's go Grunkle Stan!" Mabel obviously being excited to hear the story " alright so there was this siren-"

Grunkle Stan was telling a story to Mabel while walking away to the mystery shack
Ford stood Infront of Dipper looking if there was anyone in sight watching them

Dipper closed his journal he was writing in
"Great uncle ford! How's it been? Did you find any more monsters??!"
Dipper was filled with excitement in his eyes, but Ford's was filled with worry..
Dipper noticed it, he was concerned and asked him

"Great uncle ford?, what's wrong?"
Dipper tilted his head a bit in worry "Dipper there's something I have to tell you.."

Ford got serious at looked at Dipper

"Bill might be back."
