Chapter Five

Dipper's pov

"How does he even control his powers?!" I sighed while a blue fire lit in my hand, at least it looks cool, I guess... it's also really quiet here and if I got something to write about I would like to stay here forever. I'm starting to learn some of his powers by accident...

There's not much for me to do around here, sometimes I try his powers to cure my boredom, and just like I mentioned I was on fire, blue fire to be specific, It doesn't hurt but I'm guessing it does when someone touches me, There was a time where I got out of the statue for a few moments but I got back in for some reason, I wonder how I did that?

I heard a noise coming, it sounds like it's running to my direction but I don't know where.

Bill's pov

I finally saw the statue after running to look for it, I gotta do this as fast as I can because I don't know if a shooting star can keep secrets, I knocked on my statue's eye as if it was a door 3x, waiting impatiently,  the triangular body finally came out of the statue, he was on fire, facing the other way and looked like he was trying to get rid of it by patting it down

I cleared my throat trying to get his attention, and when I did, he freaked out noticing me "AHH! MY BODY!! I DIDN'T ABANDON YOU, I PROMISE-" jeez he was only in there for a day! although the time there is pretty messed up so it could've been more. "It's just me kid! What's so bad about my presence huh? Now PLEASE tell me if you can control my abilities."

I swear to satan If he couldn't at least do the switching spell I will!- "I can't! Why do you think I'm on fire?!!" I thought he got too close to the fire while roasting marshmallows. I sighed and tried to think of something else, I know another way, but why can't I remember...

I snapped my fingers when I remembered, AHA! THE BOOK! and no it's not the journal to any of you readers thinking it is, it's in the attic and it's- when I looked up, Pinetree wasn't near me, I saw him from a distance running and he seemed to be running to... THE SHACK. I ran after him telling him to stop but he wouldn't, if I was in my normal body I would've kept up with him but these stupid legs are too weak to do so!

And- wait the only reason for him to go to the shack is.. don't tell me he's trying to tell his family about me. I mean that wouldn't work anyways since he's not visible and all, but if they could hear him they would kill him and not me, now don't get me wrong but I would rather die than be stuck in this weak powerless body! "NOBODY CAN SEE YOU!!"

I stopped to breathe because I felt like my lungs was tightening up, I lay down on the ground to preserve my energy, oh sweet gravity falls grass, I will miss you if I ever die in this body. I raised my head and Pinetree headed to my direction to ask me questions. "Why can't anyone see me?, did anyone notice you were you?, WHY ARE YOUR POWERS SO HARD TO CONTROL?? "

GOD, he was giving me a HEADACHE! I stood up and walked to the shack while answering his questions as he followed me while he floated "One, you're invisible, how would you think I spied on you pines?" He looked like he had a shocked face when I answered that "Two, I'm an expert at acting! I even did that neck-scratching thing you always do." I rolled my eyes saying that, knowing I hurt his neck from that. A lot.

"Three, I had to learn to control my powers billions of years ago so you should get used to feeling pain from it." He had more questions but I didn't answer anymore of them, did he really think I would give away my secrets just like that? We were near the shack anyways so it would be a terrible idea looking like a crazy person talking to another person that's not even there, I entered the shack and greeted shooting star who was near the cashier and seemed to look bored since no one was coming in the shack

"hey Mabel!, I was just gonna go to the basement for a bit to talk to great uncle Ford, do we have any plans or anything for tomorrow?" I asked her so I could know when to teach Pinetree how to do the spell  "Nope! I'm going to a sleepover over at candy's house tomorrow" I was RELIEVED I didn't have to do anything with her, I approached the vending machine and entered the code to go down to the basement

"ARE YOU CRAZY?? WHAT HAPPENS IF GREAT UNCLE FORD FINDS OUT ITS YOU??" Gosh it's a relief shooting star can't hear Pinetree, he keeps overthinking stuff, Pinetree was telling me not to go down to the basement but I went down anyways, I saw Sixer working on something but I don't really care about it anyway and paid no attention to it "hey Great Uncle Ford! What are you working on?"

I don't care for it but Pinetree would ask anything about what he's doing and it's painful saying it. "Well If we can't get rid of bill by erasing him in a memory then I'm just gonna have to make a gun to kill him, I don't know if it works but I have several other weapons to try" wow such a surprise! he already found out how to kill me, a shame it wouldn't work either way though "do you know if bill already came back though? I'm kind of worried.."

of course he already knew, but Pinetree wouldn't know without asking him anyway. Talking about Pinetree, he was beside me and had a shocked face on, seems like he didn't believe me that no one knows that I'm in his body with my amazing acting skills "I'm afraid yes, there was a large amount of weirdness detected greater than gravity falls, don't go near the statue or touch it, but most importantly don't touch his hand"

When Sixer looked away to work back at his weapon I took a glance at Pinetree with a smirk on my face, he probably learned his mistake of touching my statue, if he had a mouth he would probably be nervously smiling right now "I'm gonna find things to protect the family and the shack, do you want me to help?" Like hell I would help, I'm just gonna mess up the weapon if he asked me to help.

"It's alright dipper, I think I got this" Sixer ruffled my hair while saying that, it's annoying but I made Pinetree jealous "just don't forget my warnings, okay?" I nodded and went up to the surface and closed the Vending machine, I went to the bathroom to clean up since I was dirty from all that running, I opened the bathroom door and took off the jacket and hat I was wearing "what are you doing?" Gosh almost forgot he followed me

"I'm gonna take a shower, what about it? I care about hygiene more than you do." I watched him for a week during spying time and he didn't take a bath the entire week, his parents forced him to but he just pretended he was taking a shower "now I know this is your own body but only I can see you so it's kind of creepy so will you get out?" only I can see him because I'm the one who made him appear so I'm regretting it slowly

"Well can you just not take a shower? I really hate being in your body so can we focus on switching back please??!" I know he doesn't want me to see his naked body but I've seen many naked bodies, by naked bodies I mean dead naked bodies, that sounds wrong already.

I sighed and got out of the bathroom without taking the clothes I left, if I want my body back then I have to contribute to his needs, as much as I hate it I cannot stand this kid to do anything with my body. I got into the pine twins room at the attic and searched for something under his bed

"What are you looking for???" Pinetree asked confusingly, I didn't answer until I found the book "here it is" I held the book up to show it to him, he read the title out loud "untold spells... What book is that?" He asks too many questions, I cannot wait to leave this body and him "it's a book about my powers, it's how I control them, I hid it under this bed a long time ago Incase of anything and I almost forgot it was here"

my eyes were filled with excitement and Pinetree was confused of why i seem so happy to see a book "it's how I get to remember my powers since half of my memories were erased, let's just say it helped me alot" He gasped a bit like it was an opportunity to fool me or something "only the powers I memorized a long time ago." I stared at him with a blank face and flipped the pages
