"THE RAINY SEASON IS FINALLY OVER!" Sugino stretched, letting out a content sigh.
Nagisa smiled happily, adding, "It's starting to get hot."
Sugino, Nagisa, Shinobu, and Karma were all walking side by side as they strolled around the main campus to get to their class. They were all currently chatting with easygoing smiles on their faces. Expressing their thoughts on normal teenage things, like the weather and spring break.
Shinobu was slowly transitioning into her life as a class-e student. It felt nice, fortunate even, to smile without something prickling at the back of her throat. And everyone else could notice it too. Her tone had always been calm, airy, and caring. But at times, it would change to an earnest, heartfelt one.
Those were times her classmates held close to account.
"The season for outdoor activities!" Sugino announced merrily, Shinobu giggling by his side at his enthusiasm. "How about we go have fun somewhere outside?" He suggested.
"Sure, what do you want to do?" The azure eyed boy curiously chirped, tilting his head slightly.
"How about....fishing?" Karma finally spoke up, smirking slightly to himself.
"Sounds good," Nagisa nodded. "What's there to catch right now?"
Shinobu chuckled softly, pointing out suspiciously, "There's a catch, right, Karma-kun."
The redhead's face darkened, a devilish smile creeping on his face. He couldn't help but let out a mischievous giggle. "Summer is the season for fresh delinquents," Karma stated grinning. "Let's use Nagisa-kun and Shinobu-chan as bait to catch the ones that try to shake them down."
"We are not doing that type of fishing," Sugino immediately shut down.
"Oh, come on!" Karma chuckled. "It's not like they'll get hurt or anything."
"No." Sugino answered instantly, making an X with his arms.
Karma pouted. "Aw you're no fun, Sugino."
Shinobu and Nagisa sweatdropped at Karma's now normalized behavior.
"I never knew delinquents were seasonal," Nagisa remarked dryly.
"Most people don't," Karma shrugged. "But during the hot season, the dark alleyways get a little overcrowded."
"It's frightening you know this," Shinobu sighed in mock disappointment, an irk mark forming on her temple.
Karma snickered under his breath, bashfully remarking, "Oh stop it, you're making me blush~"
The group continued walking, chatting away in the hot sun, Sugino looked over to the side, as something caught his eye. He paused in his movement as he stared with slight envy and longing. Shinobu and the others noticed his pause and stopped a bit ahead of him.
