Y/n couldn't sleep that night. Eren was back. She saw him. He looked different. Older. More tired. Still handsome. She just wanted to see him. Just once. So she did what any idiot would do. Disobey captain Levi's orders, and go see her imprisoned boyfriend.

She slowly slipped on her shoes and went to find the keys. Y/n tried her best to stay quiet, as she tiptoed through the  commanders room. Hanji wasn't in there, so Y/n took the opportunity. "Looking for something?" Y/n's heart jumped. "C-comander Hanji! I can explain! I was just-" Hanji cut her off, putting their finger over her lips. "It's fine. I understand. I'll give you the keys.  Then you can go see the angry teenager." Hanji chuckled. Y/n sighed, relived that Hanji wasn't angry. Y/n gave Hanji a sudden hug. "Thank you commander." She said. Hanji patted their head. When Y/n pulled away Hanji nodded at her, and smiled a sad smile.

The basement was cold. Freezing. The dimly lit stone walls and the sound of dripping water sounded. The feeling was eerie. Y/n slowly walked over to the cell. Her heart was pounding through her ears, as she walked over to face the boy who left.

"Fight. Fight."

He was starting into a mirror, and muttering to himself, his upper body exposed to her. He looked as if he was carefully carved, into the handsome young man he was. Y/n began to doubt. He's not the same boy. Not anymore. "Eren?" She said unsure. He looked at her. "I didn't think you'd ever want to see me again.." He said. After he left that letter, she really didn't want to see him again. But she was addicted. She couldn't get the green eyed boy off of her mind, for a single second.

Eren seemed to understand what she was asking. "It had to be done." He said simply, coldly. Not anything like the boy she once knew. His cold glare was nothing like the sweet smile, he used to give her. They were both hopelessly in love, in this cruel world. "I never thought I would ever be able to face you. At the time I was angry. I was so angry, I never wanted to see you again. But more than anything, I was hurt. You leave me with nothing, but a letter. Do you have any idea how much it hurt. I was so worried." She began to cry.

Y/n slowly walked over to the cell door. She inserted the key slowly. The door opened with a small 'click.' She pushed the door open, and walked in. Her heart pounded against her chest. This was it. She was face to face with him. She walked closer. He didn't move. Without thinking, she raised her hand and channeled all her anger, sorrow, and hurt into a slap.

He looked into her eyes, as she grabbed his face and kissed him. Eren wrapped his hands around her waist, returning the kiss. He pulled away, moving his hands to her face, thumbing away her tears. "I'm sorry." He whispered again. He collided his lips with hers again. She wrapped her hands around his neck, slowly running her fingers through his soft brown hair.
