Wedding day

chapter 4

Everything was going right. Izuku was home, haru was fine and camie and katsuki's wedding was finally out of the headlines. And now izuku had time to focus on his career without the looming fear of camie.

After his show was canceled due to camie izuku decided to fuck it and proposed a new show to his old director with mina's help. And now they are working on it.

His new show was about a teenage star and how the spotlife controlled their life. They were calling it "the price of the light" and with izuku staring it was going to be emotional.

This new show was basically his life and everyone was ready for it. Teasers and trailers were everywhere and finally the pilot was about to air.

"I cant believe that stupid show of his is getting more attention then my new photoshoot!" Camie complained. "I mean come on! A young actor whose life is shit? Who would even watch that!"

Katsuki just sat as his wife complained. It's all she ever did. And the last thing he was going to tell her is that the director reached out to him. They already had plans for season 2 and they wanted Katsuki in it. He was hesitant. He hasn't spoken to Izuku in almost a year and Camie would lose her mind! Her nagging and her yelling wouldn't stop. This person did this, or I can't believe I wasn't allowed to do that. It was exhausting! And he was done with it.

"And where are you going?!" she shrieked

"I need some air. Watch the damn show or don't I don't care." and with that katsuki slammed the door.

It was dark out but the streetlights lit his way. He didn't even know where he was going until he ended up at a park near where he grew up. He saw a familiar blob of pink and just headed over.

"Hey."

"Hey."

The two sat on the bench just looking out to the sky. Mina had a camera in her hand and was trying to take pictures of the starry skyline.

"How's the wife?" mina asked

"I want to sew her mouth shut."

"Hm."

"Look mina im-"

"Don't give me the im sorry shit!" she snapped "you fucked up. You broke his heart, broke our trust and left him when he needed you most!"

"I was trying to save him!"

"Bullshit!"

"Why else would I marry that witch of a woman!"

"Why did you do it in the first place!" By this point tears began to stain Mina's face, her amber eyes shining with tears. "Together you two could have faced it! With your wedding only a month away everything she was saying would have been swept under the rug! There was no way she could have done anything to his career! The director still believes him even now! Our director called her a bitch! Out loud! To our faces! He didn't need you running off the play hero! He needed you next to him! Standing with him! You fucked up."

"... I was stupid i didn't think it through."

A quiet silence filled the void between them as Mina went back to taking pictures.

"Why are you here anyways?" Mina asked.

"Couldn't deal with her whining. You?"

"I'm supervising izuku. He's at the park and wanted some alone time with the baby. I've gotta check on them in a minute."

Katsuki slowly stood up and walked slowly to the playground. Izuku was sitting at the bottom of the slide, holding Haru close to his chest. Katsuki walked over next to him and crouched down.

"I hope you know I'm sorry Zu' I never meant to hurt you. I hope someday you can forgive me."

Silence from izuku. Katsuki got up to walk away when he heard something. Snores.

Katsuki walked in front and saw Izuku out cold holding haru. With a chuckle and a head shake he carefully lifted izuku up bridal style and walked over to mina.

"He fell asleep?"

"Yeah. you guys drive here?"

"No. if i take Haru, can you take him?"

"Yeah."

During the walk to the house Katsuki and Mina made up for the most part and Katsuki was able to ask about Mina's girlfriend uraraka. Arriving at the house, Katsuki handed Izuku over to Kirishima, who smiled at the blonde.

"It's good to see you bakubro."

"Same to you... shitty hair."

With that, Katsuki went back to the hell hole he called his home as everyone else started thinking about the blonde once more.

"Did he ask about haru?"

"Didn't even ask to hold him."

"Well you know bakugou. He knows what boundaries not to cross. Especially with izuku."

(sorry its shot but I got excited! also im finally getting over covid and am going back to school so this may take longer to get out now)
