Third Person.
February 15th, 2025.

Sylas and August yelled at the TV as they played the game together. "Nigga you cheatin'! You traveled!"

"Yeah? Then why they ain't call it?" August laughed.

"Cus' they cheatin' too!"

"Or maybe you just suck baby bro." August snickered, laughing at Sylas who rolled his eyes but smiled anyway. "Missed you boy."

"I missed you too, Aug." Sylas gave his brother a closed mouth smile and looked away. "Where you been man..?"

"I've just been busy, you know how it gets but I got some time now. We can hang out more, do more stuff together, it doesn't matter." August offered.

Sylas gave him a smile and August returned it, wrapping his arms around his brother. "I love you, Sylas."

"I love you, August." Sylas mumbled back, hugging him tightly.

"We're here!" Ayana squealed, dragging Sincere into the house. "Look, it's Sin, he's back!"

Sincere was having a terrible day so unfortunately his attitude was on ten.

August looked at Sincere and smiled, Sincere twisted his lips and looked away, smiling himself. "My boy." August laughed, hugging Sincere. "Always fake mugging."

"What's up, X? My dawg." Sincere greeted while August still hugged him.

Sylas looked at them and leaned back, looking at his lap instead. "Hey, Sy."

"Hey love." Sylas greeted Ayana who suddenly hugged him. "You aight?"

"Yeah, I'm just in a good mood and I also love you. You okay?" Ayana asked as she watched August and Sincere carry their own conversation.

"Yeah." Sylas nodded, looking at his hands. "I'm gonna head out," Sylas blurted out. "I'll see y'all later."

"Wait, where you goin?" Sincere asked.

"Yeah. You just came back." August frowned. "Everything okay?"

Sylas nodded and walked out of the house and to his truck, sighing to himself. He didn't really have anywhere to go, but he just all of a sudden wanted to leave.

Then soon enough, Sylas's mind started to wonder. And the first thing he thought about was his baby cousin.

"Mar? You sleep?" Leo whispered, laying under the covers, facing Demitrius who's mouth was parted slightly.

"You okay?" Demitrius grumbled.

"Yeah, bad dream." Leo shrugged, laying on his back.

"You okay, let's go back to sleep." Demitrius draped his arm back over Leo's torso.

Leo laid there staring at the ceiling, playing with the gold chain on his neck. "Demitrius?"

"Yeah?"

"I hate how hectic our lives are now." He started. "Everyone hates each other and bruh we're scared to walk out of the house to check the mail. It feels like we already lost and I don't like losing."

"Well then, stop beating yourself." Demitrius sleepily responded, slowly falling asleep.

Leo lightly sucked his teeth and let a few minutes go by. "Demitrius?"

"Yeah, Leo?"

"You still a bitch." He snickered to himself, squealing when Demitrius dug his fingers into his ribs. "Ow!" He whispered yelled.
