Papyrus was studying really hard. why do you ask well there's a spelling Competition, he had to study his hardest cause he is going against his academic rival mettaton. He wanted to beat mettaton to show him he's better then him, he was close to falling asleep on his desk when he heard a knock at the door "UH YEAH?" He said who would be knocking this late it couldn't be sans he's most likely asleep, he heard a small voice "Uh it's frisk, Mon dropped me off for the night" she yawned. He checked his phone and there it was a message from toriel the local teacher at his school saying she was dropping frisk off and that she wanted hun to take frisk to school for her. He just sighed and opened the door, frisk went to the local elementary and they were a pretty smart student, smarter then a normal elementary kid, he got up and set up the cot next to his bed and laid down as he drifted to sleep, he dreamed of one person his rival mettaton, it wasn't the normal kind you would think it was, it was a romantic dream, in it him and mettaton were cuddling talking about how much they love each other. He shot up thinking of such a reason he would dream of that, he didn't love mettaton. No he hates him he sighed and woke frisk up so they could also get ready for the day. He knew what today was it was the day he was gonna beat mettaton, Hw walked to school seeing mettaton already there mettaton waved at him, not the normal snarky wave but a nice wave it made papyrus feel happy inside maybe mettaton wasn't that bad, Wait no he hates him; that's all it is is pure utter hatred. Let's skip to the good parts so this doesn't drag on. It was after the competition, papyrus stood there shock, he had lost against mettaton, he thought he was gonna win he really thought he was gonna win. He just sighed and looked at mettaton and shook his Hand "Good job mettaton, you win." Mettaton just laughed "Oh come here you big goof" he said as he pulled him into a kiss. Papyrus shocked ended up kissing back. He hasn't felt this happy in a while, maybe he was in love with mettaton
