The Only One(An Astelle~Asta x Noelle~ fanfic)

A Night to Remember.

Noelle's Pov:

Today was a generally nice day I mean I spent time with Asta went shopping with the girls and now I get to go on my first date with him. I wonder he has planned I mean it's not like I have high expectations I mean he'll probably take me to a pub for all I care but he did say that we'll dress fancy so I have a bit of hope. I got ready and headed down to beach where Asta told me to meet him. I went down to the beach luckily the tide wasn't high tonight. Just when I got to the beach I saw Asta in a surprisingly sexy suit he held his hand out and I took it we then walked over to a a table that looked as if he set it up. There was a tiny restaurant with very few people that was set up right on the beach and it was so tiny but fancy. Asta took me to a table that he had reserved that was the closest to the ocean.

"Who knew you could do something other than fighting." 

"Well it's our first date might as well get something you like including my outfit eh  you like?" 

"V-v-very m-m-much."

"I'm sorry I didn't quite get that."

"You look nice at least a bit better than your usual." I said as I was looking to the side trying to cover my blush. 

About an hour later

We had just almost finished our food and the date was basically going well so I decide to ask the question that's been on my mind ever since we started whatever we are doing.

"Hey Asta."

"Yea."

"Just a question that's on my mind but like we haven't really talked about it."

"What's on your mind?"

"Just to say you don't to have a direct answer right now but like 'What are-." I was stopped right at that second to someone calling Asta. I turned to see Rebecca waving at Asta. I hadn't seen her in like 3 years. The last time I saw her she had a bit wait that's a huge understatement. Rebecca sort of was all over Asta he wasn't interested and when he told her she just cut all ties with Asta and the Black Bulls.

"Rebecca?" Asta asked.

"Wow Asta it's been like 8 years since I've seen you." 

"It's only been 3 years your overexaggerating." I said with an annoyed look on my face.

"Oh Noelle you're here too. What are you two doing a little dinner meeting about the black bulls?"

"Well Rebecca it's actually a date. I asked Noelle out."

"Are you sure you asked me out it was more mutual than that." I said teasingly. 

"Whatever we're still on a date together." he said as he held my hand. I could tell that Rebecca was burning in rage but serves her right who told her to walk out plus he choose me.

"Well I'll be staying at this hotel for some time hit me up incase you want to talk or ask anything." Rebecca said as she slipped a note written her room number and she looked at Asta and winked at him I swear I was about to kill this hoe. 

After the date.

The date went smoothly after Rebecca went but I never got to ask my question I wasn't in the right state of mind for such a serious topic. We just went back to our room.

Asta's Pov:

Noelle seemed really pissed off about Rebecca but she eventually cooled down.

"Hey shouldn't we get ready to go to sleep." she said.

"Yea we really should." We got ready and went to our respective beds. I don't even know why we were sleeping in two different beds I mean it's not like we have anything to right and if I'm gonna be honest I kinda want to cuddle with Noelle. Even if I'm just slightly taller than her when I hug her or cuddle her I feel like I'm protecting her and I like that feeling.

"Hey Noelle."

"Yea."

"Do you think it's kinda weird that we are sleeping in separate beds I mean it's not like we have anything but I just wanted to ask if we can sleep together as long as you know you're o-" just before I could finish my sentence I could feel Noelle climb into my bed. It was comforting. 

"If you were going to confirm if it was okay with me here's your *yawn* answer." Noelle fell asleep in that moment with her hand on my chest and my arm around her and I went to sleep feeling better than ever.

(I hope you like this chapter it's not long not short pretty normal and average but just to say it is the start of a little bit of well drama as much as it didn't seem like it).
