Y/N POV:

I finished packing so I went up the balcony, where I saw Xiao. "Has Uncle left Xiao?" I said while I stood beside him staring at the sunset. "Mm.. earlier" He quietly said smiling. "Oh? I am curious as to why uncle left early but I am more curious to your sudden happiness" I smirked at him as he widened his eye and squinted at me. "Just kidding haha... anyways I'll have to leave tomorrow Xiao" I laughed but slowly lost my smile. "I'm going with you" He suddenly said facing away from me. "Say what now?" I asked with wide eyes and an expectant smile. "You heard me Y/n" He smiled a little. I was so happy I hugged him, we both stiffened by my sudden action but he didn't push me away and instead... HUGGED ME BACK??

My eyes widened but I couldn't help but not let go until he does. "What? Were you this sad to leave me hah?" Xiao sneakily teased. I was awestruck 'He can tease as well?!'. I'm utterly speechless. he let go and stared at me and I stared back. My face was all red and so was his. "I-I'll take my belongings and pack as well" Xiao quickly told me and teleported. 'He was EMBARASSED??' Was that even possible?? I went back to Xiao's room since I stayed there and saw him with a... small bag? "Xiao? Is that all you'd bring?" I went closer to him and he replied "Materialistic possessions have no purpose for me."

"So you don't change clothes nor bath?"

Xiao and my eyes widened. "I-I said that aloud, did I?" I covered my mouth as I stared at the floor. Xiao hesitantly answered "... my bag um might be small but it contains adeptal magic that can contain materials no matter how big or small. Does that answer your question haha?" Xiao chuckled which made me smile. "definitely~". I paused suddenly which caused Xiao to look at me weirdly. "What?" He asked walking towards the table placing his bag down. "Who will use the bed tonight?" I asked which made him pause as well. "You will, of course. Adepti have no need for sleep" He crossed his arm, using his 'adeptus' excuse again but I wasn't buying it. "When was the last time you slept Xiao." I asked him... No. I demanded for an answer. He wavered a bit but answered "Two weeks ago" He said which made me flabbergasted. Without saying anything I pushed him towards the bed. "What do you think you're doing?" He surprisingly did not resist. "Tucking you to bed, what else?" I shrugged and he smirked. "Who are you? my mother?" He chuckled as I laid him on the bed. "just sleep." I told him sternly so he would listen. "I can't get out of this, can I?" he wasn't resisting at all, was he enjoying this? I stared at him as his smile earlier disappeared. "Where will you sleep?" He asked as I looked down thinking about it. "Maybe on the floor?" I said but he immediately sat up on the bed protesting. He claimed that it was he who should sleep on the floor and I protested back that the room was his so he should sleep on the bed then a whole new argument started on who will sleep on the floor....
