Manny wandered around the festival anxiously. She had gone with her brother but he left hours before, after some petty fight they'd been in. They had only lived in the town for three days, she didn't know a single person.
"Back off yeah?" A voice snapped as Manny collided with a body. She gave the girl a quick apologetic look. "I-I'm so sorry. I'm totally lost right now." She chuckled awkwardly. "I'm Harper." The blonde smiled.
The brunette let out a sigh of relief. "Manny, I just moved here." She answered back. Harper chuckled. "Explains the accent." She giggled as the girl gave her a small nudge. She needed someone after she lost Amerie, so the girls stayed linked the whole night.
They had been jumping around one of the stages when someone tapped on their shoulders. "Want any rave candy?" A random boy asked, holding up a baggie with two small pills. The girls shared a short look. "Definitely." Manny grinned.
Not long after both girls fell unconscious, it probably wasn't the best idea to take free pills from a random person in the middle of a festival. But they couldn't go back. From that night on, they stuck together, no matter what.
