Gone Too Far; Draco Malfoy

Dorm Room

I've learned three things from the 20 minutes I have been here, one everyone asks too many questions, two family status is a big thing and three, people like to stare and the funny part is they think I know notice, there is a few guys that I can tell are hard core staring there one at the Gryffindor table with round glasses blue eyes and messy dark brown hair with a scar on his forehead shape as a thin bolt of lighting, this has to be Harry Potter that I've been told about, next you have a tall slender blonde almost white hair guy, with that most stunning blue eye you've ever seen his hair is in perfect place, he looks rich he must be Draco Malfoy I've also been told about, then there is the girl next to him, if looks could kill I'd probably be dead, she has a pug face and short brown hair, with brown eyes.

These girl I don't know the names of are asking me questions, and I answered then with as little information as possible don't want everyone to know everything about me already.

Eventually we are told were we will be sleeping and I don't really care that were not in our own dorms because I don't know anyone here anyways, we eventually all rush up and look for our names us at Hogwarts is on a different list then the other schools because we already know what house to look our names in.

I make it to the front of the line and look for Slytherin and then look for my name, starting from the top.

All the way down to the bottom.

B/L 444; Draco Malfoy, Theo Nott

My name wasn't one the list, "my names not here" I said out loud not thinking anyone was listening, "what's wrong love?" The tall blonde stop gloating with his friend to ask me, I turned to him, "my names not one this list" I tell him, hoping maybe since he was here longer he would know what to do, "just for laughs let's check the other houses" he said and I nodded, we then walked over to the next list checking both Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, "Gryffindor's next" I said and we looked and there it was.

B/R; Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Layla Blake.

"What the hell?" Draco questioned, "this can't be right, you can't be with them your Slytherin" he said sounding angered, "I know" I said agreeing with him, I was slytherin this isn't right, not that I was complaining about the people I heard they were nice.

"Follow me love" Draco said and grabbed my wrist pulling me away from the crowd and towards the front of the great hall, "I have a name you know" I said trying to keep up with his, he was a bit taller then be but I don't think it was his legs making his move this fast, determination maybe, "I know and so do I" he said, I know he has a name but I act like I don't know it's fun this way.

"Excuse me professor" Draco called out to the head master, "yes young Malfoy?" He answered, "the new girls names not on the list" he told him, "yes it is" he said, "look under Gryffindor's list" he told us, "that has to be a mistake, she's Slytherin" Draco argued, "yes she is but I didn't know this until today and I needed to put her name somewhere" Dumbledore told us, "so you ended up putting her in Gryffindor" Draco said sounding disgusted, "yes that is the most placed house next to yours and saw it most fitting and plus Slytherin house is full and there's no room to place her.

Draco huffed, "you haven't placed any of the girls in Theo and mines dorm" he said, "what is done is done" Dumbledore said, "so what now she asks as if that's her house?" Draco asked jokingly, "yes, for this year" he said and turned to me, "as long as you live with the Gryffindor's you will be one wear there robes and earn them points" the said and walked away from us, all I could do is huff.

"Not if I have anything to do about it" Draco siad and then turned to me, "Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" he said and reached out his hand, "Layla Blake" I said and shock his hand, "you'll be seeing a lot of me" he told me, "I figured" I said, he cocked his head pulled me in close and whispered in my ear, "don't talk to them" he said looking over to the trio I now share a dorm with, "they'll want to change you, they are your enemies" he whispered, "if I find out you make friends with the wrong sort, then you are the enemies got it?" He asked, I shock my head, he scared me.

"Good" he said and released me, "I'll fix this mess, don't worry" he said with a smirk and started to walk away, "Malfoy?" I called he turned, "what if I am you enemie?" I asked, "what will happen?" I added, "you don't what to know" he said and walked away.

I saw the girl was that was standing next to Harry and I'm assuming that's Hermione and the red head next to Harry is Ron there the ones I'm sharing a dorm with the ones I'm not supposed to talk to.

The girl, Hermione see me looking in their direction and waves me over with a large smile on her face, I slowly made my wave over to them, "hey" I said, "hi" Ron and Hermione responded, Harry said nothing just looked, "where are our manners" Hermione said, "that's Ron Weasley, Harry Potter and I'm Hermione Granger" she said pointing to each of the boys, "we already know you name" Ron said, I nodded everybody knows my name now.

"So what are you?" Ron asked sounding more rude then I think he intented, "Ron!" Hermione snapped at him, "what I want to know" he said sort of mumbled, "it okay" I said relieving Hermione's stress, "I don't really know that hat says Slytherin but the head master says other wise" I tell them, "that's not possible, is that even allowed?" Hermione asked, "I don't know" I responded, "Draco talked to Dumbledore about it" I said, "of course he did" Harry mumbled, "is there a problem Potter?" I asked, maybe sounding meaner then I wanted I don't know why I felt the need to be scared of Draco and defend him.

"Anyways Layla let's get set up" Hermione said as he grabbed my hand and lead me away from the boys, towards what I think is the common room, "Harry and Draco have a huge rivalry" she tells me on our walk to the common room, "they hate eachother, and Harry wants to be your friend and he's upset that Malfoy got to you first" she told me, "can I be honest" I said, "Malfoy kind of scares me" I told her, "me too" he agreed, "but you can't act scared here you have to be strong around them and weak on your own time, it only gives them more of a reason to pick on you" she said, "so fight back?" I asked, "yes but not to hard they think it's fun and they want to keep playing there game and go harder" she told me.

"You refer to him as if there is more then one?" I asked, "Malfoy and his gang his is the leader and when he takes interest he doesn't stop until he is board his friends like to play alone when he allows it" she said, "and if he doesn't?" I asked, "then they play behind his back, but they are the most loyal people you will ever meet" she finished as we reached what I assumed is the common room entrance, "that doesn't make any sense" I said but she didn't respond.

"The password to get in is, pumpkin juice" she told me and said that password to the lady in the frame and the door swung open, there was many people in here, people from each of our schools finding where they will be sleeping for the year, "I know we have to share a room with the boys but we don't have to share their beds" she explained, "there are two queen sized beds in each dorm and the boys will share one and we will share one, is that okay with you?" She asked me, "yes, it's fine" I told her, "I trust you Hermione" I said, "good I feel the same almost like" she started, "like we've been friends for ever" I finished, she laughed, "yes".
