Azura had woken up on the chair and saw the fire had burned out. She got off the chair and looked outside the window, it looked just the same as yesterday. She still didn't forget about what the woman said the other day. She put on clean clothes, grabbed her bag and went to Shadow Bay, like the woman said. The walk was long and tiring, she felt like she had been walking for over an hour. Finally, she made it. It was a valley full of flowers and trees, it didn't look anything like the name of the place. When Azura was getting a good view of the place, she felt someone tapping on her shoulder, she turned around and saw it was the woman from yesterday. ''Oh, hello,'' she said. ''Hello Azura, perhaps I shall tell you my name, it is Edenith. This is my companion, Reddick. Edenith had a bag over her shoulder, she zipped it open and the head of a dog popped out. ''Aw! You are the cutest!'' Azura said, crouching down and petting the dog. "Hello!" The dog said. ''RAAAH! IT CAN TALK!" Azura jumped away from the dog. "I give Reddick a special potion instead of regular water, making him talk. Now, shall we begin our training?'' Eddith said. ''Yes sir! I-I mean yes ma'am!'' Eddith had an annoyed look on her face. "This is gonna be a long day," Eddith said to her self. "First, do 10 push-ups. NOW!" And that's what Azura did, but by the time she got to the 7th one, she laid flat on the ground out of breath. "DON'T STOP NOW! KEEP IT UP! IF SOMEONE IS IN DANGER, WOULD YOU JUST LAY THERE?" Azura got motivation from Eddith's sentence. She made it up to 10 and stood up quickly. "Good, now come on now." Eddith walked away with Azura following her. Azura had no idea of where they were going. She looked up slightly and saw a large dark cave, "Really, we're going in there?" "Yes, is there a problem? You're not scared are you?" "W-What? Me? Scared? Heh, I have no idea of what you're talking about!" Azura said with sweat dripping off her face. They entered the dark cave as bats flew past them, Azura grew anxious as they walked in the cave farther. "Why are we here, exactly?" "You really think we're going to do magic in the open? We would make the whole town blow up!" They continued walking and Azura noticed carvings in the walls. "What are those carvings?" She asked. "Stop asking questions, we hardly even started and you're giving me a headache!" Eddith replied, clearly annoyed by Azura's questions. They began walking again but suddenly Eddith said, "Stop, we shall not go any farther. We will begin training here." Eddith put her bag down and Reddick jumped out, and sat next to Azura's leg. Eddith continued searching in her bag and revealed a large, tall staff. At the end of the staff was what seemed to be a oval shaped crystal. "You shall train with this, then it will be yours." ''Woah! Really, you mean it?" "Yes, I do." Eddith started going through her bag again and took out a large, old book. "This is my old spell book when I was a young witchling, this will also help you train spells and many other magical elements." Eddith said, handing Azura the heavy book. Azura almost dropped it from how much it weighed, luckily she didn't. Eddith zipped up her bag and put it to the side, she then took the book from Azura and turned the pages. "Here," Eddith handed Azura the book and pointed at a certain paragraph. "The spell is called Lumistra Condro, the spell will shoot out red fire from the tip of the staff. Here, let me show you." Eddith picked up the staff and aimed the tip at the end of the staff towards the cave wall. "Lumistra Condro!" She yelled as a fire ball blasted out of the staff. Azura was speechless, she had never seen magic before besides things on her mothers old television set from when she was younger. "You try," Eddith handed Azura the staff and did exactly what Eddith did, "Lumistra Condro!" She yelled, but this time the fire shot out but didn't hit the wall, it just dripped on the ground and disappeared. "It takes practice, keep trying. When you do accomplish this spell, meet me here again to learn another one." Eddith said. "But, how do I accomplish it?" "When you're about to cast a spell, let your emotions express yourself." Eddith walked away with Riddick by her side, leaving an Azura with a staff and a large spell book.
