Aka Wren. How would someone describe him...
Well, I guess flamboyant is one word you could use to describe him. Maybe, possibly dim-witted? Childish? But who cares? Aka Wren was going to become a pro-hero and nothing could possibly stop him!
...Except maybe the clear fact he was lost in this high school's halls. UA was a massive school and while he was proud to wear the school's uniform, he was starting to reconsider his choices and began thinking about just asking a hero for personal training instead. That would be a lot easier, right? I mean, come on, there's so many pros in Japan, one of 'em has to have at least a smidge of consideration for him ri-
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" someone barked, interrupting his thought process. He stumbled backwards and dropped his notebooks. Panicked, he ended up reverting into his original form - a form he hated all too much.
"I- I am so, so very sorry- I must've zoned out, I apologise!" Aka bowed down, hoping that he'd not already made someone upset.
Instead of getting any words to confirm an acceptance, he got a slap to the back of the head.
"Whatever, nerd. I didn't ask for an apology from you, just stay out of my way," the person demanded.
...rude?
Aka gave a nervous laugh before sighing to himself. He got on the floor and began picking up his notebooks and scattered papers. All the pictures of the pro-heroes, scattered everywhere... wait where's his All-Might picture- oh, there it is! ...That jerk stepped on it!
'Why I oughta-'
He took in a deep breath and shook his head, clearing it of any violent thoughts. He's in UA, a school meant for heroes. Getting into a fight on his first day wouldn't do him any good and it would tarnish the school's good name. He can just ask for an apology later, he could always draw another one later.
For now, he had a class to get to.
- - - - -
"Class 1-A, quiet down!" a voice announced from inside a classroom. "Aizawa Sensei would not appreciate the ruckus! We've got a new student transferring in and we've got to make a good impression!"
Aka hugged his notebooks close to his chest, his bag weighing on his back as his anxieties put even more pressure on his shoulders. Class 1-A, a class filled with the best-of-the-best, the kids destined to be pro-heroes... Here he was. And there he-
"Ow..."
-goes. Falling into the classroom and making a fool of himself in front of everyone.
"Are you alright?" asked a feminine voice. Aka got to his knees and off his stomach, looking up and around.
"O- oh! I'm alright.." he replied, laughing nervously.
'Good going, Aka. Your first day and everyone thinks you're a klutz that can't take care of himself.'
He quickly got up and picked up all his drawings. Again. He recognised a few faces.
Midoriya Izuku, All-Might's protege. He always wondered if All-Might was picking favourites or if they were secretly related. In his defense, Midoriya seemed to be like a softer version of the Number One. Though, he was a little more emotional and clearly was a lot more fragile than the buff idol.
Iida Tenya, the brother of Ingenium - Iida Tensei. Though something happened to the elder brother, he safely assumed that the young man in front of him was going to take the proud name of Ingenium. He just hoped the young man didn't have any intentions of revenge or ill-intent to get back at whoever or whatever caused this.
Todoroki Shoto, the son of the Number Two hero - Endeavor. He was aware that the kid wasn't an only child, but he did fear that Endeavor wasn't as great as the media presented him... That patch around the kid's eye didn't seem like a birthmark, either, so that wasn't giving Endeavor any Aka-certified points.
And then there's Bakugou Katsuki, the student who got first in the entrance exams. Also the student who almost became the vessel for a weird goop villain when he was in middle school. Also he's- wait, he's the jerk that stepped on the All-Might drawing!
Aka got ready to call him out in front of the class, but got promptly - and thankfully - interrupted by Iida.
"Everyone, this is our new classmate!"
"YOU'RE THE STUPID NERD WHO RAN INTO ME-"
"Bakugou! Sit down!"
"LIKE I'D LISTEN TO YOU, FOUR-EYES!"
"Baku-bro, chill-"
"NO ONE ASKED YOU, TRASHY HAIR-"
"Jeez, what did they ever do to you?""SHUT IT, DUNCE FACE."
'Oh he just has it out for everyone, not just me! Good! ...I think. Wait no he wants to be a hero that is NOT good-'
Aka readied himself for this explosive, angry pomeranian to dive at him, yet... nothing came? He opened one of his eyes and there stood a man. Almost a whole foot taller than him - give or take a few inches, he assumed roughly 5'10 or 5'11.
He assumed the man was a surprise visit for someone from the class, but soon took into consideration the man's appearance.
Slightly bloodshot eyes, a slight scar under his left eye, messy black hair that seemed almost like bedhead, scratchy stubble, dark clothes, and an off-white(light grey?) scarf. No shot this was Eraserhead, right? As in THE Eraserhead?? As in THE Eraserhead, the underground pro with the ability to erase quirks??? No shot! No way, no way!! Aka was - for a severe lack of better words - huge fan. Was he the teacher?!
"Maybe you should listen to your class rep a little better than you have been," the man practically muttered. Not only did he look sleep deprived, but he sounded just as bad. When was the last time this man got sleep?
"Sorry I'm late," he stated, not seemingly particularly sorry. "My alarm didn't go off."
...If he just recently woke up then why does he seem like he's not slept in days?? Oh well, Aka learned not to question pro-heroes rather fast - he could thank America for that awful experience. American heroes are just... a lot less focused on the job than other heroes are.
"I assume you're the new student. Aka Wren?"
"y- Yes! I'm Aka Wren! I can't wait to train and grow with you a-"
"Yeah, yeah. Go take a seat."
"Um- s-sure! Seat seat seat-"
Where... was a free seat...
...
Shoot. Right behind the blonde jerk. What was his name? Ba... baka.. Bakugou? Bakugou. Baaakuugou- He's going to struggle to care enough to remember. Oh well! First day in UA, nothing can ruin this! Not even an angry pomeranian!
At least. Hopefully...
