The festival. The UA sports festival. An event in which students attending the high school, UA, can be scouted by heroes. The chance to be a side-kick of a pro-hero. Edgeshot, Midnight, Best Jeanist, Mirko. Maybe even a sidekick of one of the top three heroes - Hawks, Endeavor, or possibly All Might.
An event streamed live on TV, full of events and trials - forcing students to be prepared for anything and everything. Forcing students to work together and step outside of their comfort zone. Pushing themselves past their mental and physical limits. Going beyond. Plus Ultra!
"Hey, hey! Wren, how are you?" a cheerful voice chirped, interrupting Aka's thought process.
"-? Oh-! Um- h-Hey, Uraraka! I'm alright! Just.. nervous..." Wren said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Really nervous."
"I'd imagine so- You just got here a few days ago, so I'd figured you'd get nervous-! But I thought I'd ask if you'd wanna train together!"

Aka huffed quietly listening to their classmates. He didn't find any classmates annoying. Well, he found two particularly obnoxious, but then again others seemed to be annoyed by the two as well...
But it was about the USJ attack. The talk of being celebrities and big-shots from being on the news. Not everyone seemed to enjoy that thought, though.
"Oh, shut up! Grow a pair, loser!" Bakugou yelled, promptly interrupting Aka's thought process. So loud... he's so mean! Does he ever calm down?
It slowly changed as Iida interrupted the class's chat about the attack. And in came a... still severely injured Eraserhead. He might as well have been mummified! That man was in NO condition to be teaching class, let alone being out of bed!
"Aizawa Sensei, I'm glad you're okay!" Iida prompted.
"..You call that.. okay...?" Uraraka worried.
"My well-being is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over," the teacher prompted.
Their fight..? Were there more villains? Was the League of Villains planning another attack?!
"The UA sports festival is about to start."
"YES!" Kirishima cheered. Though, he seemed the only excited one.
"Why would you scare us like that?!" everyone cried out, almost scolding the teacher.
"Let's go kick some ass!" Eijiro cheered out, only to be promptly smacked by Denki.
"Wait a second..."
"Is it really such a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jirou asked.
"They could attack once we're all in the same place," Mashirao commented.
The staff and board wouldn't let it be cancelled. Of course, they wouldn't, it's one of the top watched - if not THE most watched - event in the world. They'd just beefed up security for the event, trying to prove to the public that things are fine and everything was handled. Clearly, nothing was handled. Class 1-A's homeroom teacher was severely injured!
"On other terms... There's a student meaning to come along, as well. Terin."
Another student? Doesn't UA have a super low acceptance rate? Aka got in solely because of his sister...
A raven-haired girl stepped into the room, dark grey wings tucked neatly behind her back. Her eyes were seemingly empty and white, yet they seemed so full of energy. Despite the a - supposedly lack - of clear emotion through facial expression, body language conveyed the feeling just fine.
