Callum's POV:

Summer. There isn't much to say. It was pretty hot and sweaty but thanks to the clothes shopping I did I was able to keep cool. The sun was shining ninety percent of the time making the days feel like weeks. I spent most of my holiday reading or trying to do school work. I had a small pile of books stacked up in a small cubby hole next to one of my three bookshelves. This is the same cubby that I have a medium black box hidden away where I store all of the food that I buy. It's quite convenient when it comes to hiding things because I have a large six foot mirror positioned in front of the cubby hole. At first glance it's very unnoticeable because of the positioning so it works out quite well.

Oh. I guess I need to tell you about the newest crush I have developed. Well, kinda.

During the summer I would go and sit at the park a few streets over. It was the only park within walking distance which unfortunately means most students from my high school, Lakeland High, go to this park if they need a quick get away. Even if they own cars. Lucky buggers. I spend ninety-nine percent of the summer in that park and I learnt a few things. I occasionally would look up from my book and watch the students in the park. The park had a relatively large lake with a river that ran through the grounds. Hence the name of the high school. There were fields surrounding the park with marked out areas for different sports. There was also an astro turf court that could be used for basketball and badminton.

The park itself was rather large considering it didn't really have anything in it. There was a set of swings that looked very, very run down. The metal slide stood at around 7 feet in height. The steps up to the slide were also run down. The area isn't known for keeping things looking nice. Most houses look really nice but there is a little cut off area where the houses are all run down. Some have their doors hanging off while others have most windows smashed in. The wooden fences to the park have multiple holes in them, most of which were made when a group of students set fire to it. I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to make the fence out of wood in an area full of delinquents but what do I know?

While I was observing the park one Monday afternoon I looked up from my book to spot a group of students on the soccer field. I knew the names of ninety percent of the group, all of which were boys. They were one of the popular school groups and surprisingly they were a nice group. There were seven in total all of which were wearing the Lakeland High soccer team uniform.

The captain of the soccer team, Sebastian, is the second most popular kid in school. He stands at six foot three even though he swears hes six foot six. His short brown hair was cut into an Ivy league style as it stood up on his head. He normally walked around in jeans and a shirt but, like everyone else, he was wearing the team uniform. He is good at soccer, obviously, hockey and football. He is the captain of all of the above school teams. However there is one that he isn't the captain of but well get to that momentarily. He had a very nice build for a guy his age.

The next one is Lucas. He is the captain of the soccer team when Sebastian is sick or isnt able to play. Meaning he is also really good. He has long black hair which is normally styled in a comb over. He normally wore joggers and short sleeved shirts. He also only wears a single pair of black trainers. Meaning he owns multiple pairs of the exact identical trainers. I know, weird. Lucas stands at the height of six foot one and unlike Sebastian, he is quite modest with his height. He is quite modest with everything he is good at to be honest.
