Briiinggg! "Ugh." I say, rubbing my eyes and putting on my glasses. I look over at my alarm, and hit snooze. It reads 6:15, and I close my eyes for a minute or two. I leap out of bed, and walk to my dresser. I pull out a pair of ripped jeans and a Sonic Youth t-shirt, and get dressed. I unplug my phone from the charger, and put it in my pocket.

I turn my phone on, and the first thing I see is, "113 new messages- Messenger app" "I swear to God," I mumble, "Alex needs to stop texting the D&D group chat." That's probably one thing I forgot to mention, I'm the Dungeon Master for our D&D group, Dungeons and Dorks. Lovely name, right? Anyway, we meet every Sunday, and the amount of players we have varies from week to week, but we usually have about four or five. Currently, the people in the group are me, Dee, Allie, Alex, and Simon. Simon's a fifteen year old friend of mine that I met on the bus a few weeks ago, and he's pretty cool. Alex is probably one of the only people from my old friend group that I still hang out with, but it's whatever, honestly. I have no clue why I even invited Allie in the first place, but it's probably because that's the only way Dee would play.

I grab my backpack, plug in my headphones, and walk out into the ktchen. I grab a donut and some orange juice, and sit down at the table. Donner, my mom's boyfriend, walks in the kitchen with my little brother, Charlie. "A'ight, boys. Y'all ready to go?" He says. He's a tall, ginger-haired man.  My little brother Charlie is around 9, and he can be pretty annoying, but I still love him, I guess. "Yes, sir." He says to Donner, picking his backpack up out of the kitchen chair.

Donner pulls up to the school, and I jump out of the car, grabbing my drumsticks as I exit. I head to the big doors, and behind me I hear, "See ya, boy!" Obviously, as any teenager would, I completely ignore his ass because I'm kind of a dick. I walk through the big doors to the lobby, and make my way towards my homeroom, Mr. Bradford, which is also the same room that Allie and Dee are in. I walk through the door and sit at my spot. I pull out my Dungeons and Dragons planning notebook, and begin writing. I look at the giant clock in the front of the room, and it reads 8:01.

Then, Allie walks in with Dee.
