Students were eating and engaging in animated conversation with their peers as loud, indistinct chatter could be heard throughout the Great Hall. Everyone is excited about the start of yet another magical school year and being back at Hogwarts.
The Gryffindor table is where a group of four males are seated, and their jokes and laughing can be heard resonating throughout the entire hall. James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew make up the quartet of pranksters and troublemakers known as the Marauders.
James was seen gazing longingly at a certain brunette over at the Ravenclaw table, while Sirius was barking with amusement, Peter was stuffing his face with food, and Remus was shaking his head and sighing.
James sighed and said, "She's so gorgeous. What color scheme do you think she would prefer for our wedding? Ravenclaw or Gryffindor?"
Sirius snorted, "You're talking about marriage when you haven't even spoken to her Prongs."
"I can't believe I'm agreeing with Sirius on this, but he's got a point James." Remus said, as Sirius chuckled inwardly.
"I'm telling you lads, this year is gonna be a good one. I'm finally going to talk to her and make her mine." he declared resolutely. "You'll see."
Remus whispers to Sirius. "5 galleons says he's not gonna be able to do it. Well, not this year at least."
He gasped theatrically, "I can't believe you don't have faith in him, Moony."
"It's not that," he hastily said, "but have you seen him whenever she's around? He freezes up and blushes madly."
"Well, what can we do?" he shrugs. "Our mate's in love with someone who doesn't even pay attention to him. We just have to make sure he strikes up a conversation with her without making a fool of himself."
"And how are we supposed to make sure that happens?"
A blinding light enveloped them, followed by a resounding bang, before Sirius could answer. They noticed a stack of DVDs and a piece of parchment floating at the entrance of the Great Hall once everything was back to normal. Along with it, there stood the Di Angelo's, the Potter's, the Weasley's, the Malfoy's, the Tonks', the Lestrange's, the Black's, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Mad eye Moody, Amelia Bones, and the Minister of Magic.
A female voice began reciting the text of the parchment that was still floating before anyone could ask any questions."Greetings everyone,
Since the Second Wizarding War ended a few months ago, the balance between the wizarding and muggle worlds has been severely disrupted with the loss of many lives. Too much unnecessary bloodshed and deaths have occurred that I have decided to send 8 movies from the future for all of you to watch. I trust that you would all be wise enough to realize what needs to be done to ensure that things would happen differently this time.
With regards,
Lady Magic"
After a brief moment of silence, everyone began to cry out in disbelief and horror that a second wizarding war would actually occur. With panic rising, yells and profanities are heard throughout the Great Hall. However, they were immediately silenced by Dumbledore.
"I advise we begin watching right away so as to know what happened and what must be done."
The first movie was then set up as he transfigured comfortable chairs and bean bags for everyone to sit on.
