Rachel's pov:
As the day of our visit to Luz Noturna Alley drew closer, I couldn't contain my excitement. The idea of exploring a magical world was like a dream come true for me. And so, as the day finally arrived, I woke up early, eager to begin our adventure.
After getting ready and having breakfast, my parents and I headed to the restaurant in Porto Rebeira where the entrance to the alley was located. As we stepped inside, I was struck by the sight that greeted us. The alley was like something out of a storybook, with colorful shops lining the streets and all manner of magical items on display. I couldn't help but marvel at everything around me.
Our first stop was Tales of Time, a quaint little bookshop that immediately caught my eye. As we stepped inside, the sound of creaking floorboards echoed around us, and the smell of old parchment filled my nostrils. The shop was stacked from floor to ceiling with books of all shapes and sizes, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on some of them.
We made our way to the counter, and my parents handed over the list of required books that Professor Dorothy had given us. But as I glanced around the shop, I couldn't resist picking up a few more books that caught my eye. I was from a non-magical family, and I was eager to learn as much as I could about this magical world.
With our books in hand, we made our way to the currency exchange to convert our money to Arcanum, the currency of the magical world. Even the money was beautiful, with intricate designs and symbols etched into each coin.
As we continued to explore the alley, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at everything around me. From the enchanted clothing stores to the potion shops, every aspect of this magical world was fascinating. As we continued our exploration of Luz Noturna Alley, we stumbled upon an enchanting store called The Quibbler's Trunk. The shop was packed with all sorts of magical curiosities and whimsical trinkets, and I couldn't resist stepping inside to take a closer look.
There were shelves upon shelves of spell books, each bound in leather with gilded pages that seemed to shimmer in the dimly lit store. I was particularly drawn to a tome titled "Charms and Enchantments for the Beginner Witch," and eagerly added it to my growing stack of purchases.
My parents were equally enamored with the store's selection of magical artifacts. My father, who had always been fascinated by the ancient art of divination, spent some time perusing a collection of crystal balls and tarot cards. Meanwhile, my mother couldn't resist trying on a witch's hat adorned with a feather that sparkled with every turn of her head.
As we made our way through the alley, we encountered all sorts of magical creatures. A group of mischievous pixies darted past us, their high-pitched laughter echoing off the walls of the surrounding shops. A friendly-looking centaur offered to give us directions to the nearby Apothecary, and a small group of goblins huddled around a stall selling enchanted items of all sorts.
Despite the bustling crowds and general chaos of the alley, I felt a sense of belonging and excitement that I had never experienced before. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was part of a world that was bigger and more magical than I had ever imagined.
As we reached the end of the alley, we found ourselves standing in front of a store called "Magical Menagerie." Inside, we could see cages of all sizes and shapes, each containing a magical creature of some sort. My parents hesitated, unsure of whether or not we should venture inside, but I was already pushing my way through the door.
Inside, I was greeted by a cacophony of animal noises. There were owls hooting, toads croaking, and even a few pygmy puffballs giggling softly in their cages. I made my way over to a particularly fluffy looking creature, which turned out to be a kneazle, a magical feline with an incredible sense of intuition.
As I stroked the kneazle's soft fur, I couldn't help but think that this was the start of an incredible adventure. I was filled with excitement at the prospect of attending Le Rosey School for Witches and Wizards, and couldn't wait to see what sorts of wonders awaited me there. " Well that was quite a day" mom said after coming back home "Wasn't it?" dad sad putting the bags down "I cant wait to go to the school" I said excitely "You should write us a letter every week" Dad said and I nodded and went back to my room and started thinking about what should i name the kneazle. After a lot of thinking I finally came out with the name Luna Belle, means beautiful moon. It has a beautiful and soft white fur and blue and green eyes. I played with it for a while before deciding to read my books.
