Y/n pov

Morning came quickly, and of course it was straight to business. Mando and Kuill practically forced me onto the speed bike thing, so that we could go make a half assed trade with tiny sons of bitches.

"I have to do this with you guys?" I mumble in annoyance. "Yes, now come on." Tin can tell me, before grabbing my uninjured arm, and basically dragging me to where we were all gathered.

"They really don't like you for some reason." Kuill states. "Well, I did disintegrate a few of them." Mando replies back. I'm stuck having a staring contest with a Jawa, it's beady little red eyes staring right into mine.

"Knock it off." Mando mutters to me, but not before smacking me in the arm, my metal one of course. I roll my eyes and break contact with the Jawa before it turns back to its little friends and laughs.

"You need to drop your rifle." Kuill says to mando, which doesn't respond well. "I'm a Mandalorian. Weapons are part of my religion." He sasses back. I just sit down, and rest my chin on my metal hand, which is propped up on my knee.

"Then you are not getting your parts back." I can literally see the gears turning in Mandos' head. Not a pretty sight to be honest. "Fine." He puts his rifle down.

"And the blaster." He sighs before putting that down as well. Kuill then gives me a look to which I groan at. "If these fuckers kill me im blaming you." I say pointing at the short man, before tossing my weapons, all except my saber which he doesn't notice, and going back to my original position.

"Good day." Kuill says to the Jawas, now talking in business. They have a conversation in Jawa, which I don't understand. I really should have taken greefs advice when he told me to learn their language.

Kuill translates for us. "They will trade all the parts for the beskar."

"I'm not gonna trade anything. These are my parts. They stole them from me." Mando says, his temper showing at the end of his sentence. "Mando chill." I say quietly to him, who is on my left. He waved me off and started stuttering in the language of the Jawas, before they made fun of him.

"I don't think they understand you." I say more to myself, as Mando is in his own little world of rage.

"You understand this?" He yells at them before he sprays flames at them, most of them scurrying away, none dead so I guess that's a good thing.

"No! Whoa. Easy, easy." Kuill calms him down, before talking to the Jawas again.

There are now Jawas near the baby, so I nudge Mando, and he notices as well.

"Get away from it!" He shouts at them. I tune out the rest of the conversation I don't even understand, thinking about why Mando was acting weird earlier. Maybe he's on his man period or something. I chime in at mando asking about something confusingly.

"The egg? What egg?" He murmurs.

That egg. The one in the big scary cave. Of course.

I go to walk in beside the muddy cave before tin can grab onto my metal arm making me flinch slightly, before he speaks. "No."

"No?" I shrug at him, honestly not knowing what he meant. "You're staying with the kid." I scoff. "No im not" "yes you are. You're lucky I'm not making Kuill babysit you, now go." He finished, lightly nudging me towards the kid, away from the cave,

I stand, eyes a bit wide, before turning and walking towards the kid without a word. I can handle this, but for some reason he's trying to keep me out of harm.. maybe he did something behind my back and is trying to make up for it.. no that's crazy.

He would never do that

..right..?..

The next thing I see is mando getting thrown out of the fucking cave, mud all over him. The mud horn is not too far behind. I start to walk over before he yells out to me.

"Stay! Keep the kid away!" He yells before getting thrown again, more mud getting all over him. I lightly gasp, silently arguing with myself. Should I stay and listen, or go and possibly save his life again.. so many choices.

He doesn't have to see me though. I smirk before It falls instantly.

The mud horn, which I was about to pick up, was already off the ground. I whipped my head over to the baby, which had its little hand reached out.

He was doing this. And I was damn proud, and all because I was right about it. I knew it had the force. I smiled giddily, before helping it out a bit, so it doesn't strain him, making sure to hype him up.

"You're doing great, little guy." I say to it, before I look at myself before passing out from exhaustion. I made a little 'aw' sound before looking up from him to see that tin could quickly get the egg, kill the mud horn, and was making his way towards us.

"Did you see that?" He asks. I cock my head to the right and lift an eyebrow, before he elaborates. "He lifted that thing." I nod "yep. He's strong." I say before looking at the now limping mando, walking ahead of me.

"Need help?" I ask him smugly. "..no" he answers tensely, before shaking his head, as if to retract his last statement.

That led us to me basically holding up the mandalorian as we walked, with a sleepy little green baby following us in a floating crib.

Ah yes, we finally arrive back where the Jawas are. Sun beating down on us from above.

"Mando! I thought you two were dead." Kuill yells out to us. Mando lets go of the grip he had on my good shoulder, before answering. "I have it. I've got the egg." He then hands it to the Jawas.

"I'm surprised you waited." Mando says, now in front of me, while I check on the still sleeping baby. "I'm surprised you took so long." Kuill responds to him, before looking over to me and the baby.

"Is it still sleeping?" Kuill asks. We were now on the move again, with mandos parts, and me nodding off every now and then, of course catching tin cans' attention. "Yes, and y/n should be too." He says looking over at me.

I furrow my eyebrows, and scrunch up my nose. I'm disgusted. "Sleep? What's that? Sounds boring as useless." I say sarcastically.

Mando scoffs, and lets out a little 'fine be like that' before he turns back to kuill, who was now asking another question. "Was it injured?"

"I don't think so. Not physically." Mando tried to explain.

"Explain it to me again. I still don't understand what happened."

"Neither do I." Mando then looks at me. "You do." He then states.

"Yes, yes I do. But I'm not wasting time to explain, I don't think you have a high enough iq." I sass at him. He scoffs, and kuill chuckles at us before looking ahead. "Do you have to insult me every time you speak?" He says tensely.

I shrug. "If you don't like it, do something about it." I respond, to which he scoffs and shakes his head at. "You say that to the wrong person you'll end up dead."

"That is for advice."

"You're not welcome." He ended the conversation, while I stared at the side of his bucket, chuckling silently at his remark.

And of course, I sense the damn smile again.
