The First Responder

"Right! We got a gas fire at St. Annes CE Primary School! LET'S GO, TEAM!" Lt. Thirlwall chants.

"Lieutenant, what about the probie?" Hughes said.

"Oh yeah. Theo, how would you like to take up the job of babysitting the probie." Lt. replied

"No, absolutely not, ask Bishop" Hughes barked back. Lt. Thirlwall just stares at Hughes before choking out a laugh.

"You replied to me like I was asking. Chop Chop," Lt. Thirlwall clapped her hands. Hughes eventually gave up and went to call Warren over.

At the scene

All firefighters headed inside in pairs, masks up, helmets on and hoses in hand. The fire soon became violent, with rage roaring through it.

"Lieutenant! Watch out! Above you!" Gibson shouted. Before Thirlwall could respond, the post above her, collapsed and landed right on her head. She soon fell with the material, with her helmet getting knocked off and her body trapped underneath the debris alongside a row of fire leading its way towards her. 

"Alright, Lt. has gone down. QUICKLY GET ALL OF THE NESSERCARY RESOURCES WE NEED AND GET OUR LIEUTENANT OUT!" Captain Xenio shouted. 

Soon after, all the firefighters worked together to get Thirllwall out and escorted her to the Aid Car. 

7 Minutes later.

"We got a 29 female with injury to the head alongside 2nd-degree burns along her back," One firefighter said.

"What's her full name?" A nurse asked.

"Jade Amelia Thirlwall," the firefighter responded.

Soon after the nurses rushed Jade to a bed in the E.R and treated her with 0.10mg of Morphine, whilst waiting for the doctors to respond to their pages.

"What do we have here, Nurse Jordan? And where is Neuro" The plastic surgeon asked.

"Neuro is right here with her chart." The Neuro Doctor replied. "This is Jade Thirlwall with 2nd-degree burns to her back and a head injury." 

A little while later, the Doctor observed Jade's eyes with her retinoscope and looked for any signs of change in the size of her pupils and found none. After a while, Jade woke up.

"Miss Thirlwall? Nice to see you up and awake again." The doctor says.

"May I ask who you are and where I am," Jade questioned?

"Well, Miss you are in the hospital because you had an injury to your head and back and I'm Dr Perrie Edwards, your neuro Doctor," Perrie answered.

"Ok, how's my team, are they okay? and how-" Jade came to a halt and started to shake.

"Miss Thirlwall? Okay people she's having a seizure, give her 10mg of Diazepam and let's go from there. Also, get her up to radiology and get her a DAMN head C.T, STAT!" Dr Edwards shouted.

2 Hours Later

Jade woke up after her emergency surgery. 

"What happened Dr Edwards? And why does my back hurt?" Jade asked whilst trying to sit up but failing. Dr Edwards came to help her sit up whilst she answered. 

"You had a brain bleed and I drained it. Your back hurts because another Doctor took off the dead skin and got fresh skin under all that dead skin, so you have a sore back full of bandages, so take it easy Miss Thirlwall, and please call me Edwards."

Jade took a while to take in what Perrie said and responded with,

"Umm, Who's the Plastic surgeon, When will I be able to go back to work and how are you that beautiful, please, call me Jade, Miss Thirlwall makes me feel old," Jade asked.

Perrie blushed at the last question and answered her, 

"The plastic surgeon is Dr Greyard with the assistance of Dr Pinnock. Depends on what you do for work and thank my Mum and Dad." Perrie answered. For the last minute or so both girls were just staring at each other until someone interrupted them. Perrie turned to look who it was and there stood Dr Pinnock. 

"Ah, Dr Pinncock, how are you?" Perrie asked and Pinnock rolled her eyes and spoke up.

"I'm good, just here to see how Jade is doing and ask her a few questions for a diagnosis of her time off work." 

"Okay, then after is it okay if I get food because I'm starving," Jade replied with a chuckle accompanied by Leigh and Perrie. After almost 15 minutes, Leigh asked Jade the most important of them all,

"What do you do for work?"

"Oh, I'm a firefighter. A lieutenant to add to that." Jade replied. Perrie and Leigh-Anne's jaws flew open.
