Jade POVPerrie and Leigh-Anne's jaws flew open.
"YOU'RE A FIREFIGHTER!" They both asked in unison.
"Yeh, I thought my Captain told you," I replied, covering my ears as they looked at me dumbfounded.
"Leigh babe that's hot" Perrie whispered, not knowing she wasn't whispering, I mean she tried but did not accomplish. I sat there on my high horse, smirking.
"Okay Jade, I have to break the news to you. You're going to have to stay here for 2 weeks for assessments for your back. You still have to heal. I'm sorry." Leigh remarked, and I just sat there with a frown on my face. 2 weeks without rescuing people.
"Right, I'm not happy but I understand," I said sadly.
Shortly after, Leigh began to get up.
"Right Buba, I've got to go and give a consult, I'll see you later," Leigh spoke and kissed Perrie right on the lips. What was that, I'm all for it. Leigh soon left after, bidding me goodbye. I looked up at Perrie and locked eyes until she looked away and blushed. What was all of that about?
"Oop, I sense some sparks. You know, because I'm a firefighter, like sparks are the cause of a fi- you know what, I'm just going to shut up." I rambled on, whilst Perrie just looked at me like I was ludicrous.
"Yes you do, Leigh and I are in a relationship. I love her very much." She cooed. She got me here scrunching my nose because of how cute she is.
"Tell me about it, only if you want to. I'm bored and there's nothing good on tv on a Thursday night. Please." I gave her my best puppy eyes.
"Fine, well we met here in this hospital, I was an Intern she was a first-year Resident, we confessed our feeling for each other when I was a first-year Resident and she was a fourth-year Resident, and now I'm a fellow and she's up in running for Cheif of Surgery, I'm so proud of her." My grin was so wide, my face started to hurt. That is so cute. Perrie was just staring out the window probably reminiscing all those good memories.
"Right Jade, I've got a consult so I need to go. Look after yourself, be careful when laying down, and if you feel pain tell Nurse Jordan to page me or Leigh. Okay?" I nodded and thought about how comfortable this bed was, which is unusual for hospital beds because as you know, hospital beds are rock hard.
I soon drifted off into a deep slumber.
---------------
I woke up to a loud bang in my room, which was dark by the way, which I might be scared of or not, but that bang was loud hell. I opened my eyes slightly to see two figures sitting down on the chairs beside my bed, just staring at me and chewing their food like a rabbit. Leigh and Perrie. I smiled on the inside whilst being confused about why they were here, but I wasn't complaining.
"Umm hey guys, why are you here, and what time is it?" I asked looking out the window to an evening sky, scaring them both.
"Wow, your morning voice is hot, right Pez." Pez hummed in response. "Also we came here to give you some food, and it's 16:17, by the way," Leigh replied. She handed me the food they got me and I gave her a head nod as a thank you for the food. And no one has ever complimented my voice never mind my morning voice, so I again, ain't complaining.
After we ate our food we just sat and chatted with one another. I know I've only known them for like a day or two, I've lost track of time, but they are the only doctors I trust now.
"Jade. Can I check back, please? To see if you've restored your skin over time." Leigh asked politely. I nodded. So she came behind me and lifted my patient gown for me as I was unable to do so. As soon as the cold air hit my back I shivered for like two minutes. After Leigh examined my back she told me to stay put like this while she got the right applicant for my back. So I just sat there with my tits out whilst Perrie was looking at me with somewhat dark eyes. What is her deal? But it wasn't awkward on my part so I just sat there with my back slouched looking like your local Aunt next door from Bradford.
