"Isaac, Laila! Stay behind me!" Solgen shouted. Morgac and Solgen had their backs turned against us as they faced the pillar, Luna.

"Let us help you! She can't defeat all of us if we work toge-"

My sentence was cut off by Solgen yelling some more.

"No! I forbid you to join this fight! Luna is not to be trifled with! Aside from her brother, she is one of the more sadistic ones!"

"Solgen tells the truth. She, myself, and Volken have seen what they are capable of." Morgac nervously added in. Volken nodded his head in agreement as his fingers twitched.

"T-Then... what do you want us to do?" I stuttered.

"Myra, Zelke. I want you two to take my pupils far away from he-"

"Not so fast..." Luna said coldly as she raised one of her arms.

The chills I've been experiencing ever since the arrival of Luna have only grown stronger like I was wading through six feet of snow. As I looked at Luna deep within her red moon eyes, that was when it happened. The moment when everything came spiraling down.

Time seemed to have slowed to a crawl as the next series of events happened in an instant. I felt a cold liquid splash directly on the back of my neck. I slowly turned my head backward to find out what the hell just touched me. A million different scenarios ran through my mind; Maybe it was a wet hand? Or someone accidentally spat on me. There was a water leakage above me. I mostly thought of those stupid scenarios... but I was actively avoiding the truly terrifying ones...

"Isaac, Laila! Keep your eyes forward!" I heard Solgen shout.

I ignored Solgens wishes and finally looked behind me.

"...No..." I squeaked feebly.

"...!" Isaac had a frightened look on his face.

What we were witnessing right now would haunt us for as long as we lived. Myra and Zelke, the two people we've grown close to in just a single week of fighting for our lives... were standing there motionless. Their heads were blown cleanly off. Tennis-ball-sized replicas of the moon hovering where their heads used to be, their blood dripping off from the replica.

"I-I-I..."

The words couldn't come out of my mouth as I tried to process what had just occurred. I was horrified at the sight, and that was when my knees wobbled. My mind went blank out of sheer shock as my arms and legs still shook uncontrollably. Isaac still looked at their bodies in terror, his mouth twitching... a familiar twitch I haven't seen ever since we were kids.

"Y-You little bitch..." My brother snarled, pulling out his Torqinite sword.

"Isaac..." Morgac stuck his arm out, prohibiting him from moving forward.

"Were those your little friends, human boy? They were extremely weak. It only took one of my moons to kill them. Too bad it's dirtied by rat blood...Blergh..."

Luna called back her little moons to her fingers. They swirled around, shaking the blood off like a dog out of a pool.

The veins in Isaacs's neck bulged as his hands trembled in rage.

"That THING killed Myra and Zelke... right in front of us..." He seethed. "If you're going to stop me, old man..."

Isaac pushed aside Morgacs arm and proceeded to run at the Pillar, until someone stepped forward, blocking him.

"Do you have a death wish, boy?"

It was Volken who stopped Isaac. He was looking down at Isaac with pity in his eyes.
