Veronica had her headphones in while listening to some 90s R n B. She was doing her morning run it always helped clear her mind and feel at peace with herself. Arriving at the park she took a breather just to watch the view, she enjoyed hearings the kids laughter  and the view. She took a sip of her water just relaxing on the bench she needed a break before having to make the one hour journey back after she relaxed she got up to head back. After she had re tied her laces she got up to run only to bump into someone making her fall back she almost hit the ground before she felt some strong arms grab her wrist pulling her back on her feet.

Thank yo- oh you have got be kidding me. " she rolled her eyes "I should sue you or at least put a bell on you" She chuckled

"Nice to see you again Miss Calhoun, you know im starting to get the impression you like bumping into me." 

Veronica quickly scanned her eyes over at him. Ahmad was shirtless you could see the sweat glistening on his chest to his abs a tattoo was on his left peck and he had an arm tattoo sleeve on the left side also, He wore blue shorts with his packed in an updo she couldnt lie he was a fine man.

"Mr Tate its been a while, hows the real estate company coming Mr big time Ceo."

"Well its been good more clients that we can handle. Im surprised to see you hear tho is this the park you always run to?"

"Oh wow im surprised you remember me even telling you that, and yes this is the park where i run to but i run here almost everyday ive never seen you around here."

"Actually i live around here and i normally do earlier runs but i decided to run at this time and to my luck you bumped into me for the third time."

"Oh well maybe ill be seeing you more often then, it was a nice chat but i have to get back now ive got work in 3 hours it was nice to seeing you again."

She went to put to her headphones back on before she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"I want you to have dinner with me at my place." He said while looking into her eyes.

"Um i - dinner-um i-i dont know Ahmad i mean you were my boss"

"Exactly "were" im not your boss Veronica and i must say i have enjoyed being with you and our quality times we have had just say yes to 8 pm" He stepped closer stroking her cheek.

"Yes ill come to dinner with you." She spoke without thinking 

"See you at 8 Miss calhoun" He said while continuing with his run just as she took off with his.

After finishing work  Veronica face timed Imani to get tips on what to wear.

"Imani come on i need your help and you arent being serious.

"Bitch all i said was go to him naked with a robe on.

"Exactly stupid now look im gonna lay 3 dresses down and you tell me which one is the best after i put them on.

Imani nodded while eating her cherries she knew Veronica would look stunning so she wasnt fussed.

"Ok here is dress number one" Veronica came out with a strapless black dress which was slightly flowing at the bottom area she did a 360 and looked at Imani only to see her doing a disgusted face.

"What the fuck are you wearing take that grandma outfit off you are stunning but that dress is ugly mmm miss thang next one. Imani had to pause her cherry eating when she saw that dress she almost threw up.
