Chapter 17

Hanna's POV

I followed Dream outside to a cliffside from there I could see all of his realm it was beautiful. Dream walked towards the edge of the cliff and looked down over the edge "he'll be here soon" just after he spoke a massive creature flew past him he smiled and chuckled "Drogon with his dramatic entrances". The creature flew back around before landing in Infront of dream it roared as if announcing its presence to all who heard the creature stared at me and showed its bloody teeth then lowered its head allowing Dream to scratch its head "this is my dragon Drogon" I couldn't escape the dragons gaze.

"You can pet him if you'd like, don't worry he won't hurt you unless I tell him to isn't that right Drogon" the dragon let out a purr mixed with a high-pitched whistle in response as if saying "hello tiny human who might you be" I carefully reached out towards Drogon and pet him gently all the while looking nervously at Dream the dragon then lowered his shoulder I expected Dream to climb on but instead he looked at me.

Morpheus's POV

Drogon lowered his shoulder for Hanna he turned to her "go on" "what" "he wants you to climb on" she became slightly frightened "I've never ridden a dragon before" "nobody has till they've ridden a dragon" I walked over to her and picked her up placing her on Drogon's back "what do I hold on to" "do you see those two spines" "yeah" "hold onto them, are you ready" "I guess " "hold on tight".

Hanna's POV
The dragon stood up and flapped its wings before moving towards the cliff edge I squeezed Drogon's spines as he jumped off the cliff diving down before flying up into the sky. I glanced down quickly at Dream he was watching us fly higher and higher Drogon roared as he flew, "ok easy now nice dragon". Drogon roared then dove down the wind rushed against me making it hard to hold on Drogon must have sensed this being that he began to slow. He flew through canyons and over valleys, Drogon  neared the water's surface his wings splashed against the water I ran my hand through the water. Drogon flew towards the sky again going higher he roared again "Drogon where are you taking me, we have to go back to the dreaming" Drogon let out a blast of fire and began to fly towards it " Drogon stop, Drogon I'm not fireproof DROGON".

I squeezed my eyes shut and attempted to brace myself but after a time I felt no pain I opened my eyes we were flying over water with thousands of stars above. Drogon then dived down I suddenly felt a wave of energy hit me, we were back in the dreaming; Drogon flew over to the cliff side and landed he then lowered his shoulder allowing me to climb down. When I turned around a raven was waiting behind me "oh hello, Matthew right" "yep that's me, boss wanted me to escort you to the library" "o..ok" we began to walk back to the castle I looked back to see Drogon take off again "where's Drogon going" "oh he's just surveying the dreaming he's the guard dog for the realm but instead of a dog he's a dragon".
