Hanamaki could care less that it was August. All it meant was one last month of summer, meaning no more sweat soaked clothes or heat waves that could basically kill. He shut the door behind him as he entered the shared art studio, mentally sighing as the air conditioning hadn't been fixed yet. It probably wouldn't until it was too cold to use it. He walked over to his designated station, looking around. No one else had arrived yet, making Hanamaki first. A bit of a shocker as he was usually last. He pulled out a blank canvas, placing it upon an easel. There was a huge project coming up with the chance of getting featured in an art studio, and even though the chances are slim, he might as well try for it. The deadline was at the end of the month, where the winner would be revealed just before September starts. He tapped his fingers against the countertop, as he had no clue what to paint for it. The door creaked open, causing Hanamaki to look over. He was expecting Konoha or someone else in the class, but a complete stranger walked in. He looked him over, confirming it definitely wasn't another art student, confused why they had walked in.
"..Can I help you?" Hanamaki asked, breaking the awkward silence that had developed between them.
"Uhm.." The person started, staring at Hanamaki, who had a confused expression on his face. "I'm guessing this isn't study hall." Hanamaki stared at him before laughing, raising his eyebrows.
"Study hall is like, three buildings over." He said, smiling, causing the other guy to smile too.
"Well then, I guess I can officially say I'm lost." Hanamaki noticed he had dimples."
I mean, I can take you there if you want." Hanamaki leaned back against the counter, feeling the cool marble through his shirt.
"Sure, lead the way." He said, stepping aside the door and opening it, He grinned. Hanamaki grinned too.
"Wow, I thought chivalry was dead." He said, still smiling. He started to lead the way.
"I mean, what can I say?" The other guy said once he caught up to Hanamaki.

The heat was supposed to be blistering, yet during their walk it felt more like a cool breeze.
"So.." He started, drawing the word out.
"So?" The boy asked, glancing at Hanamaki.
"What's your name? I mean I probably should've gotten it first to know you aren't a serial killer." The boy chuckled.
"If anyone should be concerned, it's me. You're the one leading me out to an unknown place." Hanamaki laughed too.
"Anyways, my name is Matsukawa Issei." The now known as Matsukawa said. "What's yours?" He looked to Hanamaki, who took a mental note of the difference in height.
"Hanamaki Takahiro." He told him. They had stopped walking at this point.
"Well then," Matsukawa started, reaching his hand out. "It's nice to meet you, Hanamaki." Hanamaki took it.
"Same to you." He said, and they both started on their walk again.
They had reached the building, stopping short of the door.
