After dad got rid of Gideon, Soos came in saying something about a bat in the kitchen. "Don't worry, I have it under control. Dipper take care of it!" Dad said and sat deeper in his seat. Dipper wasn't happy at all after hearing that dad put him to do all the work, AGAIN. "Why do I have to everything?" Dad didn't move from his seat and continued watching tv. "Cuz I say so. Now go." Dipper walked away angrily mumbling things like "I swear he hates me.."

I walked after him and placed my right hand on his shoulder and gave it a small reasuring squeeze. "He doesn't hate you, he's just trying to toughen you up." Dipper shrugged my hand of and glared at me. "How would you know? He never makes you do anything!"

I was sure that hurt was clear in my eyes so I hid my face behind my hair(if you don't have that long hair, then just pretend).

"I know because that's what he did to me when I was younger. I thought dad hated me because mom left after naming me....but after years and years he told me it was to toughen me up, and it worked! He also taught me how to fight. I wouldn't have survived for three years on my own traveling around if it wasn't for my dad."

I smiled at the memory of when I defeated five men who were kidnapping women, for who knows what reason, By doing what my dad taught me.

I frowned when I saw Dipper looking down with a sad expression on his face not looking convienced. "There's a difference. You're his daughter, ofcourse he would do anything to keep you safe.."

I took hold of Dipper shoulders and made him look straight at me. "Trust me, he's doing it for you." He shrugged my hands away again and started to walk towards the kitchen to get rid of the bat. "Yeah, yeah..." He mumbled.

I walked back to the living room to continue watching tv and on my heard Mabel cheering Dipper on.

"C'mon Dipper! you can do it! Remember it's more afraid of you than you are of it!- Or was it the other way around..?" I guessed it WAS the other way around when I heard Dipper scream and run out of the kitchen. I giggled and sat down with my dad.

After a while dad fell asleep so I turned off the tv. Right after I stood up to go to the toilet.
