My Girl

Chapter One

Y/n Pov:

I had just moved to Hawkins at the start of the summer. So I didn't know anyone. I looked for a summer job in Hawkins before I moved. So I applied for a Scoops Ahoy position. A week after summer started it was my first day on the job. I was so nervous because I didn't know anyone yet. I had the morning shift so I got up early. By time I was ready I had 30 minutes to get there. I didn't want to be late for my first day. So I hopped in my car and drove there with 10 minutes to spare. I looked for scoops ahoy in the big mall and when I arrived there was a guy in the front. "Ahoy there can I get ya anything" the boy said "No I'm actually here for the job it's my first day" I replied "oh ok well I'm Steve Harrington" "Nice to meet you I'm y/n l/n" "your uniform should be in the back. Ask Robin" I went to the back and saw a girl sitting at a table who I assumed was Robin "hey you must be Robin" "yeah I am are you the new employee" "yeah I'm y/n Steve told me to come back here to get my uniform" "oh yeah it's in the employee bathroom" "okay thank you Robin" I went to the employee bathroom and changed into my uniform. But when I changed I realized that I was wearing a miniskirt. "Hey Robin is this supposed to be this short" Robin chuckled "I don't know y/n me and Steve wear shorts I didn't know they had those uniforms" Steve walked in looking me up and down. "Damn y/n you look good" "Steve!" Robin yelled at him "it's okay Robin, but why am I the only one not in shorts" "I don't know y/n but you look hot" Steve replied. Robin punched his arm. "Shut up dingus" "so what am I supposed to do" y/n said "you just have to take orders and scoop ice cream" Robin said "ok I'll go to the front and take orders" y/n said. While I went to the front I heard Robin and Steve stay behind talking about something.

                       ~Time Skip~

A couple hours past by and my shift was almost over. So I decided to take a little break. When I went to the back I realized that Robin was the only one back there. So I just went over to my bag and grabbed my food. Then I sat down and ate while Robin did whatever she was doing. Then when I finished I went back to the front and finished my shift. When I was done I grabbed my bag and drove home. When I got home I showered and watched tv until my parents got home. Once they got home I got ready for bed.

When I woke up I realized that I only had 10 minutes. I was in a rush to get ready and eat. When I finished it was time to leave. So I drove to work. When I got there Robin was in the back at the table and Steve wasn't there yet. I took the first shift of scooping. Until Steve got there and took the next shift. I sat in the back with Robin while Steve drove away customers. When Steve was done Robin went out to take the next shift. When it got busy I went out to help Robin. While Steve stayed in the back. Once it calmed down me and Robin went to the back while Steve went to the front. While me and Robin were in the back I couldn't help but stare at her. But as soon as she looked back I quickly looked away. Once it got awkward I decided to take the next shift.

                        ~Time Skip~

My shift finally ended and I went home to relax for the rest of the day. After a while I fell asleep. But when I woke up I realized I was running late. So I quickly changed and grabbed a quick snack on the way out. When I got there I remembered that it was my first shift alone with Robin. Robin had already started so I went to the back and ate my snack. When she came in the back I went out for the next shift. But then Robin came out and said "Hey y/n you can take your lunch now if you want I'll take over here" "oh okay thanks robin" "yeah no problem y/n you've been working really hard these past couple days" I went to the back and started eating when Robin walked in and handed me a small tub of my favorite ice cream. "This is my favorite how did you know" "just a lucky guess" she replied. "Thank you" she then went back out and started working. When I had finished I went to the front and took over for Robin. Until our shift was over. While I was going to grab my bag Robin said "what are you doing tonight y/n" "oh I'm probably just gonna go home and watch tv" "your not gonna hang out with any friends" "well I just moved here so I don't know anyone" "oh well if you want you can come over to mine and watch a movie or something" "oh okay I'd love that" Robin followed me out to my car and gave me the directions to hers. I pulled into the driveway and we got out and went in. When we got in I followed Robin to her room and she pulled out some tapes. She put one in and we sat on her bed and watched the movie. When the movie finished I realized how close me and Robin had got. Then she got up and put in a new movie and sat back down. While we were watching the movie we kept getting closer together. Then I realized that Robin was holding my hand. I blushed a bright shade of pink and tried to hide it while Robin kept her eyes on the tv. When the movie was over I saw Robin cuddled up next to me asleep. So I decided to just cuddle up with her and fall asleep. When I woke up Robin was still asleep so I gently shook her to wake her. When she woke up she realized how close we were and she blushed. Then as she scooted away I felt embarrassed. When she saw the time we both realized that our shifts were starting soon. We got ready and got in my car. As we drove to work in silence Robin just looked out the window til we got there. When we got there we went inside and went on with our day.

(A/n) I'm sorry if this is bad the last time I wrote a story was over a year ago. I don't really know if there moving too fast or not but.
