Welcome to my dearest readers,
This is my second Taejin story in Wattpad, and I am so excited to publish it after receiving positive feedback on "The Forbidding Hadalpelagic Zone". However, unlike my previous story, this one is going to be a really short fic of about 15 chapters or so, and I am going to focus only on Taejin in this. There will be hints about sideships, but I am not going to elaborate on them.
This is my first time trying a suspense-thriller genre, and I am no pro at this. So, do expect plot holes here and there. Also, English is not my first language; hence, expect spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.

Freshly showered, Kim Seokjin stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and another smaller one hanging on his shoulder. He walked briskly to his study table and grabbed his phone before dropping onto his bed. He checked his notifications and his class schedule for the day, which brought a broad smile to his face. Grinning happily that he had only three classes that day, Seokjin began drying his wet hair. He spent a good ten minutes choosing his attire for the day before giving up and settling for a plain white shirt paired with black trousers.
Seokjin placed the neatly pressed clothes on the bed and entered the kitchen to help calm down his roaring stomach. He made a quick breakfast with whatever was available in his fridge and made a mental note to restock the equipment that evening. After swallowing the last piece of toast and gulping down the orange juice, Seokjin jumped off of the high kitchen stool and made his way back to the bedroom.
Humming his favourite song, Seokjin began dressing up for the day. He styled his lush, dark brown hair to fall over his forehead after parting it in the middle, making sure that his fringes hid the ugly scar that occupied his left forehead. He rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt until the band of the rolled cloth stopped just below his elbow. Now, with his black half-frame glass sitting snuggly on his nose bridge, Seokjin let out a satisfied smile and completed his look with a silver-strapped wristwatch.
"That...", Seokjin pointed to his own reflection in the mirror with his index finger, "is what you call a fucking snack..."
Seokjin grinned to himself as he stood staring at his reflection for a few minutes, his breathing strangely coming out harsher and slightly laboured.
"Good..." With a sharp flick and an elegant roll of his wrist, Seokjin adjusted the glasses on his face and schooled his expression to a more neutral one, "Let's get through this day with a bright smile that this handsome face deserves. You heard me, Teacher Kim? No frowning today. Only smiles... happy smiles... Yes!!"
Seokjin grabbed his cross-body sling bag from the study table and looped it over his shoulder. He locked his apartment door and paused near the door next to his that belonged to his close friend Min Yoongi. Seokjin contemplated if he should wake his friend up and take him out for breakfast but decided against it as he remembered hearing music coming from his friend's place until late the previous night. As he took the elevator to the ground floor, Seokjin made sure to order breakfast on his phone to be delivered to Yoongi's place.
