On any normal day, Seokjin would have enjoyed the gentle patter of raindrops on the car's windshield. The temperature was dropping rapidly due to the sudden downpour, and the heater in Yoongi's second-hand Sedan could barely keep him warm. Thankfully, he had remembered to wear his jacket before rushing out of Yoongi's studio, and the highway they were driving on now was almost empty except for a very few vehicles that passed by once in a while. His wristwatch showed the time to be half past one, and Seokjin fought back a yawn, the soft whistling of an almost perfect note from his stalker lulling him to sleep.

"We are being followed."

Seokjin was wide awake at once.

"Huh?" Seokjin glanced at the masked face of his stalker in panic before diverting his gaze to the rear-view mirror.

"That white Hyundai has been following us since we started driving from your friend's studio", the stalker informed, tapping his fingertips on his right knee.

"And you are telling me this only now, because?", Seokjin asked, his grip tightening around the leather wrap of the steering wheel.

"I wasn't sure before", the guy shrugged as he continued observing the car behind them through the wing mirror.

"A-are you sure now?", Seokjin asked, gradually speeding up the car along the highway.

The masked man nodded, and Seokjin felt jitters fill his chest.

"Wha... what do we do? What do we do now?", he inquired, looking visibly distressed, "We can't let them know where we are headed."

"That's if we don't get killed first", the stalker murmured, clicking his tongue, "We need to lose the tail as soon as possible. God knows how many men are in that vehicle, and what if they are armed?"

"I... I don't think so", Seokjin stuttered, not sounding confident.

The masked stranger snorted begrudgingly, "They tried to kill you once already."

"Yes, but if they wanted me dead, then they wouldn't be following me patiently for thirty minutes straight, right?", Seokjin reasoned, "They would have sent a huge truck for us or at least a couple of cars. Haven't you watched dramas in your life?"

"Are you for real, Seokjin?", the stalker huffed, rolling his eyes.

"I am, and you will see my point if your brain functions properly, and that's if you have one", Seokjin scoffed, "Only I know where Choi ahjussi lives, and... okay, I believe that only I know where Choi ahjussi lives. So, if they haven't yet found his location, they would want to catch me alive. Also, they might know about your presence, which gives them a double advantage. One shot, three strikes..."

"Fuck...", the guy swore under his breath, losing his composure for the first time since they started driving together.

Seokjin observed the white Hyundai that was tailing them at a steady speed through the rear-view mirror. Fear gripped his insides, and he felt so tired of being constantly put under pressure.
