Balasaar the Kobald Knight has come to the rescue. (Also, I think he would sound like a knight of the round. But Irish because of those weaved knots. But just to let you know that he's only called that through the web and as long as he's part of my story, he, too, is a Li'zarda.)
He is part of the Trapper Class. He also takes inspiration from the Assaults as he carries his sword, the Celtic Fang, for close combat. He can block with it as well; just like Lucy.
Just like Abe's Tracking Dart Pistol, he carries a pack of Magebane Bolas.

The runes on his bolas help stick to the monster like glue, and every 7 seconds, they will send a pulse out that slows and highlights the Monster that will allow Balasaar to follow its scent. It will automatically send out a pulse when the Monster has eaten a bar of iron (the stuff in meat) whether if it's one, two, three, or four bars of iron. You all seen the good news for the Hunters, but let's talk about the bad news for the Hunters that serve as good news for the Monster. Balasaar only carries three bundles, and he would have to wait until the Monster shakes it off for him to grab them and use them again. So if this guy was actually put in the game for real, and you're playing as him, try not to go hog wild with this trap ability. Also, he can continue to swing his bolas until the Monster is in a clear sight of his vision for him to throw. Good news, if throwing three bolas on the Monster, it would initially give a base slow effect that would allow ally Hunters to get to the high ground.
Now, as for his long range weapon, which also acts as a close range weapon. His secondary weapon, is a Dragon Crossbow.
