Chapter eight

Several months later

Brandenburg Pov

I accustomed myself to my new life, this Pearl Harbour is very nice, the peolpe living here are nice

I've been accepted as a meber of Azur Lane, which means not just sitting around bored but go on the ocean, but before that I had a five day depressive period where I got accustomed to emotions and just cried for these days. I was not alone, Yorktown, Wolfi, JFK, Warspite, Belfast and Arizona were there for me these five days. Warspite and Belfast sadly had to leave for great britain two months ago

Me and JFK developed a friendly relationship(Just friends not lovers), when we both had free time we talked together, ate together and just wasted time together. Some of my knowledge from the future was able to be used, some medicine, some tech and other things. Most was not able to be used for direct weaponary purposes, usaly indirect(example: made loading mechanisms safer and more reliable, the gun had the same punch)

The relations between Azur Lane and the Crimson Axis wich Germany, Japan, Italy and half of France founded, have been declining steadily. The Axis wants to use Siren tech against the Sirens, which Azur Lane is not against, but how extensive they want to use it without enough knowledge about it. The Siren tech is mostly understood, the biggest problem is how much energy it requires, resulting in humanity being unable to utalise the tech. The disagrement is about the power source the sirens use, black Wisdom cubes, they power the siren tech without issue but they are usaly only obtained from mass produced Siren ships, in wich the cubes act as a brain. It is feared and supported by some tests that the cubes would take over the piece of equipment and try to cause damage. There are some cubes obtained from machines in Siren bases wich won't take over but there are not enough of them available and they are not enough understood to use them

The Axis wants to use the cubes obtained from mass produced ships without further research. I find it suspicious that they don't expect serious incidents to happen

I'm currently sitting on the docks, earlier the British carriers Illustrius and Unicorn arrived. They were greeted by PoW and Cleveland

I suddenly have a bad feeling, I don't know why, but I plan to patrol to satisfy the feeling

Me:*This is FGS Brandenburg to Pearl Harbour dock command, I request permission to leave and patrol*

Radio Operator:*Please wait*

RO:*Permission granted, how long and how far do you plan to patrol?*

Me:"For two to three hours and I plan to do a half circle 3 to 4 km away*

RO:*Understood*

RO:*Just don't engage any large Siren forces*

Me:*No I won't, until later*

I depart Pearl Harbour and patrol in the area I mentioned

One and a half hours later

I deployed one of my Sea Lynxs for reconnosaince, but my bad feeling was unwarranted

When suddenly my Heli reports Siren mass produced ships and Sakura ships heading in direction of Pearl Harbour

The Siren and Sakura ships are not attacking each other but sailing in formation, I suddenly realise that a late Pearl Harbour attack will happen today, the entire west coast of the USA would be in danger if Pearl falls, I have to warn them

Me:*This is FGS Brandenburg to Pearl Harbour*

PH:*Static*

Me:"They are blocking radio, I have to get to Pearl as fast as possible, maybe I can set up something to slow them down"

Akaga Pov

The trip her went uneventful

Me:"They don't suspect a thing, we will catch them of guard"

Suddenly several Siren ships explode

Kaga:"What is that have they suspected our attack"

Me:"No it's just a minefield, not abnormal to protect such an Important base"

Kaga:"You're right"

(Brandy asked for some sea mines so he can deploy them if he needs to flee)

JFK Pov

I'm talking with my friend the Radio Operator when suddenly the radio crackles

Brandy:*This is the FGS Brandenburg to Pearl Harbour, I repeat this is the FGS Brandenburg to Pearl Harbour. A massive fleet comprised of Japanese and Siren mass produced ships is headed for Pearl with the intent of attack, they jammed radio preventing me from reporting this until now. I deployed some sea mines to delay them, estimated time of arrival of carrier planes is thirty minutes*

RO:*Please repeat the message*

Brandy:*Repeats message*

RO:"JFK activate the alarm repot of whats happening, I'll radio all available assets to prepare to defend"

(RO switches to a channel which when used, the message is automatically played by all military radios in the area)

RO:*To all hearing this, prepare for incoming attack, I repeat prepare for incoming attack by planes and ships from Siren and Japanese Origin*

I run to the next room

Me:"Activate the alarm notify AA emplacements, launch all planes and notify all Kansen"

The alarms across Pearl sound everyone does something, civilians run away, Kansen run to their ships, soldiers man AA guns and Pilost run to their Planes
