"What's your favorite K-pop group?" Mia asked, snarfing up a sausage roll while she, Bella and Raven walked to class.
"Blackpink obviously". Bella murmured.
"What the heck is a K-pop group anyway?" Raven asked.
"Are you fweaking kidding me?" Mia stopped walking abruptly.
"Korean pop group". Bella replied.
"Does it exist?" Raven asked again, totally uninterested with their conversation.
"Okay...are you faking it or are you like....being serious right now?" Bella asked also stopping to stare at her.
"So...it exists huh?" She murmured.
"Duh...yeah" Bella said..."and you haven't heard about Blackpink or BTS, the most popular groups or even Exo, Enhypens, Straykids, Twice, Aespa..blah blah... doesn't ring a bell?"
"Nope". Raven replied, staring blankly at her.
"Are you even a human being?" Bella gasped out.
"Are they?" Raven asked..
"Huh?"
"The K-pop blah blah...are they human beings?".
Mia face palmed herself....
"Nevermind.... let's just go". Bella said out of frustration.
They were about to head for their class before they almost bumped into Lucas.
"Aishhh! Move it will you?" Raven hissed.
"Hi". He greeted.
"Hey Lucas". Bella waved. Mia was too timid to speak.
"Uh....Raven?" He began, touching the nape of his neck, nervously.
"How can i help you?" She asked folding her arms. It was difficult for him to say what he wanted to, with the attitude she was displaying.
"Um...I...well....do you....?" He stuttered, thinking of a way to put in good words so as not to receive a slap from the bad-tempered girl.
She gazed at him with a raised eyebrow, while Bella and Mia were anxiously waiting for what he had to say.
"Are you alright? There's A.C and you're sweating". She asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
He took out his hanky and dabbed on his face...
Bella giggled at the sight, because she knew he was scared. It reminded her of the last time he was at Aiden's house.
He puffed out some air and finally muttered..
"Will you be my date to prom?"
Mia gasped, while Bella beamed...
Raven was taken aback....she was stunned to talk as she stared at the only guy who dared to ask her out to prom.
Usually, all the boys in the school wouldn't dare go close to her, talk more of asking her out.
"Uh...um...I..."
It was her turn to stutter as Bella and Mia stared at her in amazement. They've never seen her at loss with words.
