You always liked Saturday afternoons.
After you finished school, you loved going home and doing your favorite activities, knowing that the next day you could sleep late and have almost no worries. Besides some homeworks of course.Currently, you were at your desk, trying to fix your radio which apparently had stopped receiving waves from those two radio stations it was still able to catch. You started taking it apart to see if the problem was inside it, as the small antenna still seemed to fit. You examined some of the cables, trying to see if they were broken, coming to the conclusion that everything looked totally okay.
Not understanding what was wrong frustrated you, and you decided to take a break by drinking the orange juice you had in a glass a little further away.
You reached out to retrieve it, one hand still in the small device. The moment you grabbed the glass the radio gave you a jolt that made you jump and let the glass fall to the floor and shatter.
You slapped yourself in the face, then got up from the chair you were sitting on to fetch something to clean up."What the fuck happened?" - you heard your sister scream from the next room, she must have been on the phone with someone as she seemed more irritated than usual by the noise.
You ignored the question, realizing it was rhetorical.
You tried to avoid the glass splinters on the floor and went out of your room to get a cloth and maybe a disinfectant for the mark that was left on your hand when you got the shock.
You went to the bathroom and pulled a couple of plasters out of the box full of medicines and pills, then retrieved the disinfectant and wiped some on the wound with a small piece of cotton. After thinking about your hand, you went downstairs and grabbed a cloth from the kitchen, then back up. You took care of removing the juice from the floor and recovering the various shards of glass on the floor, and then cleaning the floor with a little water so that it did not become sticky.
After that you turned your attention back to the small radio, which, receiving no signal, kept emitting that static noise. Your gaze thinned and you quickly turned off the device, now irritated by not being able to fix it.
By now tired of trying to do something for the radio, you decided to distract yourself by staying on the phone for some time. It was there that the idea of building the radio yourself came back to your head and since you had nothing to do, why not?
You got up from your lying position, even though you had positioned yourself on the bed moments before, and walked out of your room again to go to the local shop that sold all kinds of electrical appliances.
Why the store in question was closer than the mall and a simple newsstand was a mystery to you, but it didn't concern you, and you've never asked yourself too many questions about it.You went down the stairs and recovered your jacket hanging from the hangers near the entrance. You wore your shoes, and since it was cold outside, it being autumn, you decided to take a scarf with you too.
Before you left you yelled a - "I'm going out" - to inform your sister that you weren't going to be home for a while, and you closed the door behind you, walking away from your house.
You retrieved your bike, and started going to the mechatronic shop, or at least you thought it was called that, you weren't sure.__________________________________________
You've always liked this season, if it weren't for the impending arrival of influences, you would almost have said it was perfect.
Leaves fell from the trees, giving the concrete-covered ground a color you honestly didn't mind.
The shadows of the trees seemed higher by this time, and you often got scared of them, even though you eventually scolded yourself for being so impressionable.
The colors of the clothes people wore were also much more calming than those of other seasons. (Even if you normally didn't care what other people wore, and even if you loved the bright colors // those bright colors disturbed you, and because of this) you tried to go out as little as possible in those periods of time, and if it was summer there was also the possibility that you would have melted under the sun.
