The Void

My whole body felt numb as I was trying to sit up, after waking up in the void

My whole body felt numb as I was trying to sit up, after waking up in the void. I felt like I was beaten to death by how much my body hurt.

I was looking around the void, everywhere was filled with darkness but in the distance I could make out a figure. It was a girl. She had her back toward me, looking out into the distance.

I got up slowly, trying not to hurt myself in the process. As I was walking towards her, she was turning to fully look at me. But when she did, it was the most scariest site to see. It was me, but different. My whole body was burned but I was still able to make out facial features. My eyes were pitch black, my tears were blood and they were going down my face.

"Hi," it said.

"Hi... who-who are you?" I asked.

"You should have already figured that out but I guess I could tell you. I'm you but scarier, if you put it that way," it said.

"Why are you here?"

"I can't tell you that,"

"Why?"

"Because then it won't be fun for you anymore, I want you to find out yourself," it said, chuckling.

"Are you the one that hurts my friends?"

"Maybe," it said.

"I could give you a hint. When the time comes, when things start to change, you will too. It's going to be hell for you," it said.

I look at myself with a shock but blank face. When things start to change, what will change? My friends? My lifestyle?

It turns around, walking away, turning to dust as it walks away.

"Wait! Where are you going?" I yelled, after it.

It stops and turns.

"Leaving? Can't you see that? I'm leaving to see your show play out," it said, turning into ash, disappearing forever.

Hospital

I wake in a room with a window and door. I was laying down in a comfy bed, it was starting to put me to sleep but then door opens. I turn to my left seeing El walk in but she was in different clothes.

"Hi," El said

"Hi. How long have I been out?" I asked.

"Five weeks," El replied, walking to sit beside me.

"How's Will doing?"

"He's sad because he believes it's his fault for putting you here,"

"Oh," I said, turning to the window. Did not know what else to say.

"You be able to go home in two days," El said.

"The Snow ball is coming up, I want you to go," El said, grabbing me hand, holding it in her.
