*One week after the Halberd sunk
You were chilling in your small cottage on your bed, things were peaceful as always. You've just spent your day with your ruler, king Dedede doing chores for him. He's okay, but he always treats Kirby poorly. All your scattered thoughts dropped when you heard a knock on your door, you rose up and answered..
"Mety! What's up?" I looked down to find him with Kirby..! Weird...
"Please don't call me that.." He said, turning away from me.
"A new cafe has opened up close to Kawasaki's and I was hoping to bring you and Kirby along, ill pay-"
"Holy crap! Yes yes yes!" You jumped up and down with glittering eyes, you would kill for some sugar right now. Kirby danced with you as you two skipped to the cafe, Meta knight puts his hand on his face and sighs.
The place Is so cutesy! The outside is almost like a goth look with a purple and black pattern with ribbons and banners! I was reading the menu when Meta knight almost pushed me out the way to get a look. His eyes were extremely pink! He was peering at the desert section and almost shed a tear..!
"Wow, you sure look excited!" I laughed. He blushed and followed us in. We sat down at the corner and immediately Meta ordered for everyone..
"One parfait, two sundaes with extra fudge, three doughnuts.. and three floats." I just stared in shock. All that desert!?
"Meta... that's too much, at least ill pay for me and Kirby!" I said, stressing. He shook his head.. I looked up to see Fransisca serving us water!
"Fransisca! What are you doing here in Pupupuland?" I smiled.
"Heh... I decided to take a break from being a mage.. it's hard ya know?" Fransisca quietly spoke with her head down. After a good 5 minutes of talking to my friends, the sweets came in gigantic portions and Meta knight was left shocked.. He lifted his mask and spooned a heaping of parfait cream in his mouth, and i caught a glimpse of his cute face.
"What..?" He looked at me. Shit. I looked away and took my first bites of the sundae.......
"What the hell.. it's..." I could barely speak upon all my tears.. Kirby and Meta were also breaking down..
"IT'S SO GOOOOOD!" We all cried at once. Kirby (like always) ate their food in under a minute and Meta finished not long after that. Finally, I was done and realised a certain someone snatched the float I left behind..
"Meta knight, I drank outta that.." My face was a little red, knowing he was willing to do something so cheeky. Oh well! Kirby had to leave early to have a picnic with Fumu and Bun so i was left alone with Meta knight.. PERFECT! We walked for a while and stopped by my house.. only then I realised he walked me back like a gentleman..!
"Thank you for spending time with me," He said, looking away still. But I could see his eyes were a deep purple.. I tried to lift his mask, but at first, he resisted.. but then he let go and I gave him a kiss on his cheek. He was clenching his fist because nobody had done this before...
"Let's do something tomorrow, ok?" I said with a big smile. He nodded. And there he went.
"You're so sweet and salty. Like caramel..!" I whispered to myself and I tucked myself into bed.
